A vehicle headlamp includes a shade that shields a part of light emitted from a light source. A predetermined end edge of the shade serves as a cut line forming portion that forms a cut line of a light distribution pattern and the shade is provided with a dimming portion positioned behind the cut line forming portion. The cut line forming portion and the dimming portion form a low-brightness portion having a lower brightness than that of other portions in a part of the light distribution pattern. A portion of the shade including the cut line forming portion is provided as a flat plate-shaped functional surface portion and at least the functional surface portion is tilted backward and downward.

A lamp for a vehicle, the lamp including: a light source unit and a lens structure that projects the light emitted from the light source unit to form a certain beam pattern. The lens structure includes: a body part; an entrance part that allows the light emitted from the light source unit to be incident to the body part; and an exit part that allows the light incident to the body part to be emitted forward. The body part includes a recessed portion configured to block the light which is emitted from the light source unit and arrives at the recessed portion. The entrance part includes an upper region and a lower region which are provided in an upper portion and a lower portion, respectively, with respect to an optical axis of the exit part, and curvature of the upper region is different from curvature of the lower region.

A vehicle light guide and a vehicle headlight which can improve long-distance visibility are provided. The vehicle light guide has a shape having an incident surface on which light from a light source is incident, a first reflective surface which internally reflects the light incident from the incident surface toward a front in a front-back direction in a vehicle-mounted state, a second reflective surface having a shape with an inclined portion inclined to a lower side in the front-back direction in the vehicle-mounted state across an edge side on the front in the front-back direction and internally reflecting the light reflected by the first reflective surface toward the front in the front-back direction, and an emission surface that emits the light internally reflected by the first reflective surface and the second reflective surface and emits a light distribution pattern to the front of the vehicle.

A lamp for a vehicle includes a first beam pattern formation part configured to emit first light for a first beam pattern and a lens configured to form the first beam pattern by transmitting the first light. The first beam pattern formation part includes a first light source that emits the first light; and a shield configured to block a portion of the first light that is emitted from the first light source toward the lens. The lens includes a spread lens that concentrates incident light to a focal line having a linear shape and a spot lens that concentrates incident light to a point.

Vehicle headlights are equipped with a right-side lamp, a left-side lamp, and a control unit. A right-side light distribution pattern and a left-side light distribution pattern include an overlapping area and a non-overlapping area. In a case where the steering angle is greater than the prescribed angle, the control unit controls power supplied to light-emitting parts of the right-side lamp and power supplied to light-emitting parts of the left-side lamp such that: a first area of a first light distribution pattern is located in the non-overlapping area; a second area of a second light distribution pattern is located in the overlapping area; and a first intensity of the light in the first area becomes greater than the sum of a second intensity of the light in the second area and a third intensity of the light in the area overlapping the second area within the first light distribution pattern.

Disclosed is a condenser and a high-and-low-beam integrated vehicle lamp module, the condenser comprises at least one light incident portion, a light-transmitting portion, and a light emergent portion, wherein a 50L dark area light shape forming structure is formed on the light-transmitting portion; the 50L dark area light shape forming structure protrudes from a surface of the light-transmitting portion and has a slope surface; and the distance from the slope surface to the surface of the light-transmitting portion gradually increases from a position close to the light incident portion to the light emergent portion. Since the 50L dark area light shape forming structure protrudes out of the surface of the light-transmitting portion and has the slope surface, in a high-beam illumination mode, some light is emitted from the 50L dark area light shape forming structure to a 50L test point.
