Energy-saving street light system with dynamic and real-time brightness adjustment
11683873 · 2023-06-20 ·

An energy-saving street light system with dynamic real-time brightness adjustment includes a multiple of street lights, each storing a modulated brightness value of the same luminous quota and a predetermined brightness value. If the street light detects no motor vehicle passing by or receives no notice for a period of time, then a light with the predetermined brightness value will be emitted, or else the largest modulated brightness value will be used for setting and a quantity of one of the luminous quota will be used up. After the whole quantity of the luminous quota is used up, the next smaller modulated brightness value is used for the aforementioned setting procedure until all modulated brightness values are set. If the same receiving unit receives two or more modulated brightness values simultaneously, the modulated brightness value with a greater brightness will be used for the setting.

LED street light

The invention relates to the technical field of lighting, more particularly to a LED street light that includes a main body and a support arm connected to the main body. A female joint is provided at one end of the support arm close to the main body. A male joint is provided at one end of the main body close to the support arm. When installing the LED street light, the male joint and the female joint are mutually inserted to supply power to the main body, without arranging the circuits in the LED street light before installation, which greatly simplifies the installation process and reduces the installation time and the installation difficulty. In addition, due to the reduction of the installation time and installation difficulty, the safety hazards caused by the installation of the LED street lights can also be prevented, and safety is thus improved.

Illumination system for crossing zone
11790770 · 2023-10-17 · ·

Pedestrian crossing zones at an intersection are often poorly illuminated. Lighting systems typically only partially illuminate the pedestrian crossing zone or provide only diffuse light. Herein is disclosed a crossing zone illumination system and method of operation, comprising a controller and an array of at least two lights coupled to a span wire above each pedestrian crossing zone.

One example lighting apparatus includes a mounting substrate being arranged in the lighting apparatus at an angle with respect to a vertical direction. The lighting apparatus also includes a plurality of light sources mounted on a lower or vertical surface of the mounting substrate. Additionally, the lighting apparatus includes a plurality of lens elements provided to the mounting substrate such that each of the plurality of light sources is provided with a corresponding lens element. Further, the lighting apparatus includes at least two reflector elements provided to at least two light sources of the plurality of light sources, such that each of the at least two reflector elements has a reflective surface facing the mounting substrate. Each of the at least two reflector elements extends between a first and a second edge.

Aerial lighting fixture connector

A system to couple a controller to a roadside aerial lighting fixture includes a primary male connector integrated with the controller and a primary female connector integrated with the roadside aerial lighting fixture. The primary male and female connectors are compliant with a roadway area lighting standard promoted by a standards body. The primary male connector protrudes from a first substantially planar surface of the controller. The primary female connector is recessed within a second substantially planar surface of the roadside aerial lighting fixture. A controller-side data connector protrudes from the first substantially planar surface or a third surface substantially parallel to the first substantially planar surface. A fixture-side data connector is recessed within the second substantially planar surface or recessed within a fourth surface substantially parallel to the second substantially planar surface. When the controller is rotatably coupled to the roadside aerial lighting fixture, the primary male connector is electrically coupled to the primary female connector, and the controller-side data connector is communicatively coupled to the fixture-side data connector.
