Light engine for and method of simulating a flame
An apparatus, system, and method for lighting effects, including simulating a flame. A three dimensional carrier includes an array of a plurality of light sources distributed on it. A control circuit coordinates on/off of the light sources in a manner to simulate a jumping flame. In one embodiment, the three dimensional carrier and LEDs are encapsulated in an at least partially light transmissive cover. This light modular engine includes a control circuit and an interface to electrical power. The system can include the light engine in a light fixture such as an architectural fixture. The methodology can include a sequence of on/off and brightness variations for the array of light sources.
Flood light
A light includes a housing with a top face, a bottom face, a first side face, a second side face, and a surface arranged adjacent to the bottom face. The light also includes a head pivotally coupled to the housing, with a diffuser and a plurality of LEDs configured to emit light through the diffuser. The light also includes a power source configured to provide power to the plurality of LEDs. The top face, the bottom face, the first side face, the second side face, and the surface are each configured to support the light, and the surface is oriented at an oblique angle with respect to the bottom face.
High-intensity, telescoping light tower with safety features
A mobile lighting device is disclosed with extendable boom sections. The boom sections are stored in a horizontal position and then pivot to a vertical position before being extended upward. A light section is positioned at the uppermost end of the last extendable boom section. A variety of safety features are also disclosed.
Luminaires having a wireless antenna
A luminaire includes a housing defining an interior volume. The luminaire also includes a lamp within the interior volume and configured to emit light. Additionally, the luminaire includes a wireless antenna positioned within the interior volume, configured to transmit or receive a wireless signal along a first direction, and configured to be operatively coupled to an access point. The wireless antenna can be entirely within the interior volume. The luminaire can include a first reflective surface within the interior volume and configured to redirect the wireless signal. The lamp can be configured to be electrically coupled to a power inserter that powers the access point.
Stand light
A stand light includes an elongate body defining a longitudinal axis, a collar coupled to the elongate body for movement along the elongate body between a first position and a second position, and a plurality of legs coupled to the collar, the plurality of legs being collapsed against the elongate body when the collar is in the first position and being expanded apart from the elongate body when the collar is in the second position. The stand light also includes a head assembly coupled to an end of the elongate body. The head assembly includes a hub and a plurality of light heads. The hub is pivotably coupled to the end of the elongate body to pivot about a first pivot axis. Each of the plurality of light heads is pivotably coupled to the hub to pivot about a second pivot axis.
Site light
A site light including a body, a power system with an AC input and battery terminal, and a telescopic arm assembly supported by the body, where the telescopic arm includes a first end fixed relative to the body and a second end opposite and movable with respect to the first end. The site light also includes a light assembly in operable communication with the power system and coupled to and movable together with the second end of the telescopic arm, where the light assembly is operable in a first light mode in which the light assembly outputs approximately 13,000 lumens of light, and a second light mode in which the light assembly outputs approximately 20,000 lumens of light.
Modular light housing
A modular light housing apparatus for removably holding a light assembly includes a light transmissible portion and a cover portion. The cover portion is releasably coupled to the light transmissible portion and the light transmissible portion has a mounting region and a light compartment configured for transmitting light from the apparatus. Wire passages are provided between the mounting region and the light compartment, which is defined by a frame. The frame has a plurality of wire conduits, each near one of the wire passages. The wire conduits each have a conduit opening opposite one of the wire passages. The cover portion has a light mount for holding the light source, and the wires travel through the wire passages, wire conduits, and conduit openings to engage a light source.
Modular partition track system
A modular partition track system includes a modular base portion configured to be positioned on a ground surface. A first track subsystem is positioned on at least a portion of a first surface of the modular base portion. The first track subsystem includes one or more slidable partition coupling assemblies configured to slide along the first track subsystem.
Power tool, light unit, and floodlight
A power tool includes: a motor; an output shaft that is rotated by a rotational force of the motor; a chip-on-board light emitting diode disposed around the output shaft; and a suppression device configured to suppress a temperature of the chip-on-board light emitting diode to a predetermined allowable value or less.
