Dental light using LEDs
A dental light comprises at least one light emitting diode light source configured to produce a light beam and at least one collimating lens system situated to receive the light beam. The collimating lens system is configured to collect and collimate the light beam. The collimating lens system can additionally modify the beam through controlled diffusion or shape the beam using an aperture.
Light source unit, light source module, and lighting device
A light source unit includes light-emitting elements, a light-shielding body, and a rod lens including a first end surface, a second end surface, and a side surface. The light-shielding body is separated from the side surface, covers the side surface, includes an opening exposing at least a portion of the second end surface, and includes a tip protruding further than the second end surface in a first direction from the first end surface toward the second end surface. A first plane crosses the first direction and is at the same first-direction position as the tip. A second plane crosses the first direction and is at the same position as the second end surface or between the tip and second end surface in the first direction. A first surface area of the opening at the first plane is greater than a second surface area of the opening at the second plane.
Lighting device
The invention relates to a lighting device (1; 1; 1; 101; 101) with a lamp housing (2; 2; 2; 102; 102) and a lighting unit (3; 3; 3; 103; 103). The lamp housing has a light emission area (7; 7; 7; 107; 107) on a light output side (5; 5; 5; 105; 105) thereof and on a side (11; 11) facing away from the light output side (11; 11; 11; 111; 111) thereof has a curved, dome-shaped rear wall (13; 13; 13; 113; 113). The lighting unit is set up to emit light on the light output side (17; 17; 17; 117; 117) thereof in order to emit the light through the light emission area of the lamp housing. The lighting unit has at least one device (23; 23; 23) on a rear side (19; 19; 19; 119; 119) facing away from the light output side (17; 17; 17; 117; 117); 123; 123) which can be used to attach the lighting unit in a selectable location on the rear wall (13; 13; 13; 113; 113) of the lamp housing using a magnetic force, thereby enabling adjustment of the beam direction (A) of the lighting unit in relation to the lamp housing.
Light-emitting device and lighting device
A light-emitting device includes a light source, including a light-emitting element and an optical axis in a first direction, and an optical element. The optical element has a surface including an incident region, a first region that reflects, toward the light source, a first light entering the optical element through the incident region, a ring-shaped second region surrounding the first region, and a ring-shaped third region surrounding the incident region. The first region reflects, toward the light source a portion of the first light that reaches a central region, overlapping the light-emitting element when viewed in the first direction, of the first region, and a portion of the first light that reaches an outer region of the first region. The second region reflects a second light entering the optical element through the incident region. The third region reflects, toward the second region, the second light reflected by the second region.
