The present invention relates to a decorative lighting panel for mounting to a home exterior via mounting holes, brackets, bolts, etc. The panel has a frame that includes a groove between a front surface and rear surface of the panel. A plurality of illumination sources in the form of LED strips or chips are disposed in the groove, for providing illumination and a retractable plastic cover is designed to reveal the LEDs when pulled down. The plastic cover generally covers the LEDs when illumination is not required. The panel has wireless capabilities allowing a remote control or a handheld electronic device with an installed software application to remotely control the operations of the panel. The panel is designed to be electrically connected to other similar panels to form a series of panels for creating a long segment of illumination.

Self-contained devices, systems and methods for housing holiday lights in the form of icicles, and the like, in self-contained boxes that can easily be mounted and removed around house windows and eaves. The lights can be retractable and extendable downward from the boxes, and the lights can be remotely controlled by smart phones and the like. The boxes can have displays for holiday messages as well as speakers for playing music and messages. Another embodiment can include a drop down version where the lights drop down from a housing. Another version can include a fold out version where a support frame having upwardly protruding lights is rotated so that the lights extend below the housing.

A decorative removable lighting enclosed clip made for mounting a light to a support surface such as gutters, shingles or a building structure. The enclosed clip allows for an aesthetically pleasing display of lights with rapid and easy installation and removal of the lighting. This eliminates falling debris from broken clips or clips that fall off the lights during the removal process. A support tab is inserted between the side portions of the structure, at longitudinally spaced intervals along the strip, and are frictionally gripped and retained by the facing side portions of the gutter, shingle or structure. The clips have enclosed end portions which support the light elements of a decorative light string along structure. The enclosed clip is capable of mounting onto a wide variety of gutters, eaves and building structures. The spacing is adjustable and provides a plurality of discrete angular positions.

A clip for holding a light bulb for display on a gutter, shingle, or other structure includes a base, a support arm extending from an end of the base to a second end of the support arm, and a cantilever beam extending from the second end of the support arm towards the base. The cantilever beam and base define a clip mouth for receiving the structure into the clip. A bulb holder is rigidly attached to the support arm and defined a through-hole to receive the light bulb held by the clip. The bulb holder is attached to the support arm between the cantilever beam and base.

A universal light mounting box for retrofit is described. The retrofit light mounting box attaches to a junction box and receives electrical power from the junction box cables. The mounting box includes a canopy housing and a camera housing to provide wireless communication of both audio and video capabilities for the area around the junction box while also providing controlled power to a light fixture which is attached to the mounting box. A depending camera housing provides both audio and video signals which can be transmitted from the retrofit canopy housing electronics to a user's device.

A universal light mounting box for retrofit is described. The retrofit light mounting box attaches to a junction box and receives electrical power from the junction box cables. A safety holiday light assembly facilitates installation of holiday lighting to an exterior perimeter of a building from the ground surface. A substantially rigid tube defines a hollow cavity which carries an alignment member comprising a rod and plurality of spheres. Each sphere is detachably affixed via a cantilever to holiday lighting, which is disposed around a perimeter when the alignment member is inserted into the rigid tube. The tube may be color coordinated to match the colors of the building. The tube may form protective seals against external elements.

An exterior molding system adapted to provide decoratively illuminated lighting for a building and which incorporates first and second lighting panels each having a plurality of illuminating devices. The lighting panels are attachable to a soffit that is itself attached to a building. The second light panel is hinged to the first light panel so as to enable the second light panel to be deployed either opened or folded up under the first light panel. The second light panel includes illuminating devices that are visible when the second light panel is opened and that are hidden when the second light panel is folded under the first light panel. A remote control panel is in electrical communication with the illuminating devices. The control panel receives electrical power and selectively powers at least one (1) illuminating device.
