Systems and methods for Utilizing flue gas
Systems and apparatuses for cooling flue gases emitted from an industrial facility, such as a coke oven in a coke manufacturing plant. A representative system includes a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) having a steam generation system that converts liquid feedwater into steam by absorbing heat from the flue gases. The steam generation system includes a plurality of tubes that carry the liquid water feedwater and the steam. Some or all of the tubes include steel and a non-corrosive material cladded to the steel that helps to reduce corrosion caused by the high temperature flue gases and extremely corrosive contaminants within the flue gas that can corrode steel.
MULTI-TUBE ONCE-THROUGH BOILER
In a multi-tube once-through boiler configured such that boiler water within water tubes is heated and evaporated to take out consumed steam, rows of water tubes arranged on the left and right of the combustion chamber are respectively connected by linear left and right upper headers provided at upper ends and linear left and right lower headers provided at lower ends, a lid body is formed on one end side facing the combustion chamber and a burner for supplying combustion gas to the combustion chamber is provided, and the burner is provided with a recovered oil supply unit for supplying recovered oil, a waste solvent supply unit for supplying a waste solvent, an injected air supply unit, a combustion air supply unit, and a control unit for controlling the supply of the recovered oil, the waste solvent, the injected air, and the combustion air.

Boiler system comprising an integrated economizer
A boiler system and methods for heating a fluid are disclosed, in particular for heating water for producing steam. The boiler comprises an economizer module integrated on the top of a furnace, and is in communication with the furnace to receive heat and/or hot combustion gases therefrom. The economizer comprises tubes receiving the fluid, such as feedwater, to be pre-heated and providing it to the furnace comprising a combustion chamber producing heat and hot combustion gases. The fluid is pre-heated by circulating first through the pre-heating tube assembly of the economizer module before entering the furnace module where the fluid is further heated by the combustion chamber. Since the economizer is located on the furnace module, the boiler does not have a large footprint compared to a regular boiler system without an economizer. Due to the total integration of the economizer with the furnace, the boiler system has improved energy efficiency.
