Decompression apparatus for superheated steam
The present disclosure relates to a decompression apparatus for superheated steam comprising: a temperature raising unit having an inlet connected to an exit side of a boiler for introducing steam discharged from the exit of the boiler, and an outlet for raising the temperature of steam introduced through the inlet and discharging it; a steam utilizing unit connected to the outlet and using the steam discharged from the outlet; and a decompression unit installed at one or all of a section between the exit side of the boiler and the inlet and a section between the outlet and the steam utilizing unit, the decompression unit controlling temperature of steam while decompressing pressure of steam. According to the decompression apparatus for superheated steam, it is possible to control the pressure and temperature of steam more precisely.
CHEVRON VANE AND MOISTURE SEPARATOR INCLUDING SAME
Provided are a chevron vane that traps and removes droplets contained in steam and a moisture separator including the same. The chevron vane for trapping and removing droplets contained in steam includes a main frame group including multiple main frames arranged in a flow direction of steam and pivotably connected to each other, and a collection vane group mounted on the main frame group and including multiple collection vanes for trapping droplets contained in the steam.
Evaporator system
An evaporator system for an industrial boiler, containing a heat transfer system, a separator for separating water and steam and a dryer for drying the separated wet steam. A horizontal vessel contains a required minimum amount of water, a relatively small steam volume and internals for the separation of water and wet-steam. A vertical vessel contains internals for drying the wet steam to predetermined values by separating liquid from the wet-steam. The horizontal vessel and the vertical vessel are connected to each other by wet-steam piping through which separated wet-steam is transported from the horizontal vessel to the vertical vessel. The vertical vessel has a connection to dry-steam piping for discharging dried steam. The vertical vessel has a connection to a liquid drain piping for transporting liquid from the vertical vessel back to the inlet conduits of the evaporator heat transfer section.

Steam turbine plant
A steam turbine plant includes a high-medium pressure turbine having a high-pressure turbine section provided at one end portion in an axial direction and a medium-pressure turbine section provided at the other end portion; a low-pressure turbine disposed coaxially with the high-medium pressure turbine; a condenser configured to cool steam used in the low-pressure turbine to condense the steam into condensate; and a feed-water heater configured to heat the condensate with steam discharged from the high-pressure turbine section. The plant also includes a low-pressure moisture separating and heating device configured to remove moisture of steam discharged from the medium-pressure turbine section, and to heat the steam with a part of steam to be sent to an inlet portion of the high-pressure turbine section and a part of steam to be sent to an inlet portion of the medium-pressure turbine section from an outlet portion of the high-pressure turbine section.
Turbine system and method
A power generating system includes a condensing steam turbine fed with steam from a boiler, wherein the air supply for the boiler combustion process is preheated by means of a heat pump system comprising at least one heat pump with at least one compressor, before entry to the boiler. A method for generating power using the power generating system is also described. A method and apparatus for extracting heat from the gases of a combustion process are also described.
