Detection of leakage in recovery boiler
A method, system and computer program for detecting a boiler leakage, in which the automation system of the recovery boiler receives an indication of a need to start the automatic sequence and starts an automatic sequence with the following functions: stopping the dosing of the tracer into the boiler water, stopping the exhaust purge flow of the boiler water, monitoring a property of the boiler water over the duration of the inspection period and drawing a conclusion regarding the leakage on the basis of said monitoring.
INTELLIGENT PREDICTION OF BOILER BLOWDOWN
A method for predicting a blowdown rate of one or more boilers includes generating output data with a first model that specifies an empirical relationship between multiple input temperatures, multiple plant gas feed rates, and multiple outputs of the boilers. The method further includes collecting an ambient operating temperature and a current steam demand of the boilers and comparing the ambient operating temperature and the current steam demand to the output data to determine a current required blowdown rate. Once determined, the blowdown rate of the boilers is adjusted according to the current required blowdown rate.
Test loop for simulating steam generator with or without axial economizer and test method thereof
Disclosed are a test loop for simulating a steam generator with or without an axial economizer and a test method thereof. The loop includes a cooling water loop, a water supply loop, a recirculated water loop and a power supply. The cooling water loop is used for condensing and cooling wet steam and providing the wet steam to the water supply loop and the recirculated water loop. The water supply loop is used for providing cold-state water supply for a test device, the recirculated water loop is used for reheating cooled water to be saturated and providing the water to the test device. The power supply is used for supplying power to heating equipment and an electric heater in the test device. The present disclosure provides a test method of the loop. Simulation tests can be carried out on a steam generator with or without an axial economizer.
