Device and a method for cleaning interiors of receptacles and facilities
An appliance and a method for removing deposits from interiors of receptacles or facilities by way of explosion technology. The appliance includes a supply device for providing an explosive mixture or its starting components, as well as a transport conduit that is connected to the supply device and serves for transporting explosive mixture to a cleaning location. The transport conduit is designed at least in sections as a transport hose.
Steam generator with pre-heat chamber and filter
A steam generator includes a pre-heat chamber configured to heat incoming water to a temperature less than the boiling point of water, where the pre-heat chamber is configured to heat the water such that if the water contains a calcium compound, the calcium compound is caused to take a particulate form. The steam generator also includes a filter assembly in fluid communication with the pre-heat chamber, the filter assembly including a removable particulate filter element, where the filter element is reusable and cleanable. The steam generator also includes a water pump in fluid communication with the filter assembly, and operative to cause water flow through the steam generator and a boiler in fluid communication with the water pump, where the water pump is configured to cause water to flow to the boiler, and where the boiler is configured to boil water such that steam is produced.
Draining a power plant
A power plant, particularly a coupled gas and steam power plant, including a plurality of first drainage lines that are fluidically connected on the upstream side to a water-steam circuit and are fluidically connected on the downstream side to an overpressure vessel, is provided. Additionally, at least one steam-conducting supply line, via which steam can be fed back to the water-steam circuit, is fluidically connected to the overpressure vessel. A method for operating such a power plant, wherein the at least one steam-conducting supply line can supply steam to the water-steam circuit in the region of a low-pressure stage, particularly in the region of the steam drum of the low-pressure stage is also provided.
Steam generator dual head sludge lance
A moveable sludge lance said moveable sludge lance having duel lance heads passed through handholes in the side of a nuclear steam generator and into a central tube lane having a central stay rod which cleans with high pressure fluid through the row 1 tubes in the tube lane, where the distance between the dual lance heads is wide enough to allow the dual lance heads to extend beyond the central stay rod.
Chemical dispensing system for treating fluid in boiler/cooling systems
Powered and non-powered kits for the treatment of fluid in boiler and cooling systems, both open and closed recirculating are disclosed. The kits generally include a fluid container, a fluid connector configured to engage the fluid container, a hose configured for fluid communication with the fluid connector, a port, a fluid container suspension means, and a hose end support member. The fluid container is configured to enclose chemical agents and/or solutions. The port may be formed along the fluid container and be configured to receive the fluid connector. The hose end support member may support at least one portion of the hose at a desired height above the standing fluid to be treated. In embodiments, a metering pump is included with the kits, the metering pump configured to cause a predetermined amount of the chemical agents or solutions to be dispersed from the fluid container.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF REMOVING FOREIGN SUBSTANCES FROM STEAM GENERATOR
An apparatus for removing foreign substances around a heating tube of a steam generator is proposed. The apparatus includes a universal machine unit configured to hold the foreign substances, a connecting rod unit including a distal end connecting rod and a connecting rod part, a connecting rod moving unit configured to supply the connecting rod unit into the heating tube to move the connecting rod unit, a connecting rod supply unit provided to sequentially supply the plurality of connecting rods to the connecting rod moving unit, an image-capturing unit configured to be moved to a point where the foreign to substances are located to capture an image of the foreign substances, and a controller connected to the universal machine unit, the connecting rod moving unit, and the connecting rod supply unit to control operations thereof.
Commissioning power plants
Improved steamblow commissioning of a steam plant with steam discharged to the condenser and increased use of permanent piping instead of temporary piping with quenching/desuperheating and providing a low back pressure environment to enable aggressive steam blow cleaning.
Natural circulation multi-circulation package boiler with superheat for steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) process including superheat
A boiler includes an upper steam drum, an optional intermediate drum, and a lower drum. Each drum is divided by an internal divider into a clean section and a concentrated section. Downcomers connect the upper steam drum to the lower drum, and tubes are connected to convey a heated steam-water mixture from the lower drum into the upper steam drum (through the optional intermediate drum, if provided). An optional superheater has an input terminal connected to receive steam from the clean section of the upper steam drum. An attemperator may be provided to attemperate superheated steam output from an output terminal of the superheater, and the attemperation fluid may optionally be provided from the concentrated side of the upper steam drum.
Deep Cleaning Alignment Equipment
Systems and methods for cleaning a heat recovery steam generator system including tubes and fins associated therewith using deep cleaning alignment equipment are described. The deep cleaning alignment equipment primarily includes at least one wedge and at least one wand. The wedge may be an elongate wedge configured to maximize the surface area that contacts the tubes and fins, which in turn minimizes the amount of stress about any specific point of the tubes or the fins. Additionally, the wedge may be made of a variety of different materials. The wedge may include multiple pieces that can be releasably secured together. The wedge may also have at least one opening formed therein to assist in removal of the wedge from the system.
Tube shaker
The tube cleaning device has a frame having a plurality of top and bottom vertical slots and a first and second upper slotted bracket, each bracket being located above an upper and lower window. First and second lower brackets are located below the windows forming a ledge. First and second riggings engage the slots and releasably connect the frame to a tube bank. A spreader bar is inserted through a window. A releasable connector secures the spreader bar to the frame. A vibrating motor is releasably secured to the frame. Vibration of the motor is passed through the frame to the spreader bar, which vibrates the tubes to effectuate cleaning.
