AIRCRAFT GALLEY STEAM OVEN
A steam oven for an aircraft galley. The steam oven includes a pipeline for supplying fluid comprising water or steam to a food preparation chamber of the steam oven. The pipeline is configured to receive water or steam from a source external to the steam oven and a valve configured to regulate the flow of said fluid through the pipeline. The valve has an open state in which the valve permits the flow of fluid through the pipeline and a closed state in which the valve prevents the flow of fluid through the pipeline. The oven also has control unit configured to actuate the valve between the open and closed states. The valve includes a sensor configured to detect an actual state of the valve 9, the sensor being independent of the control unit.

Feedwater control for a forced-flow waste-heat steam generator
A method for operating a forced-flow steam generator constructed as a waste-heat steam generator having a pre-heater, including pre-heater heating surfaces, and having an evaporator including evaporator heating surfaces connected downstream on the flow medium side of the pre-heater heating surfaces. A device for adjusting a feed water mass flow has a set point for the feed water mass flow. During the creation of the set point for the feed water mass flow, a waste-heat flow transferred to a fluid in the evaporator heating surfaces is determined, and mass storage and energy storage in the fluid in the evaporator heating surfaces is detected during non-steady-state plant operation. A behaviour over time of a mass storage in the evaporator is coupled with a behaviour over time of a mass storage in the pre-heater, wherein scaling is carried out with a ratio of the density changes in the evaporator and pre-heater.

Steam generator and cooking apparatus including same
A steam generator and a cooking device including the same, according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a water supply pipe into which steam water is introduced, a heating chamber having a chamber body and a chamber cover, and a steam heater configured to provide heat, wherein the steam heater is provided to be embedded in the chamber body and the chamber body includes a plurality of partition walls protruding in one direction along an inner peripheral surface to form a Z-shaped steam flow path through which supply water introduced into the chamber body and steam generated by heating the supply water flow. Therefore, the heat transfer, which had been concentrated only in a predetermined region, may be dispersed by the flow path formed in the chamber body, thereby stably generating the steam even in repetitive steam generation operation.
