The secondary fuel inlet and a secondary oxidant inlet are communicated with the main combustion space. Supercritical hydrothermal combustion is realized to generate a hybrid thermal fluid or treat organic wastes.

Combined cycle power system

The present disclosure generally relates in certain embodiments to a combined cycle power plant system comprising an electrochemical compressor. For instance, in one set of embodiments, the electrochemical compressor is may separate oxygen from a flow of air from an air source to provide a pressurized flow of oxygen to a combustor. In some embodiments, the resulting combustion products may only include oxygen and water without any substantial fraction of other combustion products or contaminants which may facilitate the separation of carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) for subsequent processes including compression and/or storage.

Burner with fuel and air supply incorporated in a wall of the burner

A burner of a turbomachine has an upstream burner section providing a first fuel and an oxygen containing fluid to an upstream end of a burner interior, a downstream burner section for providing a second fuel to a downstream end of the burner interior, and an intermediate burner section between the two sections. The intermediate burner section has an annular wall surrounding a mid-section of the burner interior. The annular wall has an annular cooling fluid passage, for guiding the oxygen containing fluid, and an annular fuel passage for guiding the second fuel to the downstream burner section, the annular fuel passage being more distant to the burner interior than the annular cooling fluid passage. Two annular slots are incorporated into the annular wall. The upstream burner section has at least one integrated fuel tube through a body of the upstream burner section, configured to feed the annular fuel passage.

Combustion chamber assembly unit

A combustion chamber assembly unit for a fuel-operated vehicle heater includes a combustion chamber housing (14) elongated in a direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L), with a combustion chamber (16) radially outwardly bounded by a circumferential wall (18), and with a combustion chamber bottom (20) axially delimiting the combustion chamber (16). A combustion air feed volume (36) is provided that is open to the combustion chamber (16) via a plurality of passage openings (38). A cooling medium feed device (46) is provided for feeding a liquid cooling medium to the combustion air feed volume (36).

Flue gases are produced in a combustion chamber of a burner unit, in particular for the combustion of exhaust air. Combustion gas can be supplied to a gas burner via a combustion gas line and feed air, in particular exhaust air that can be used as feed air, is supplied to said burner via a feed air line. The feed air is divided into primary air and secondary air by a device. The primary air is mixed with the combustion gas, in a mixing zone, to form a primary air/combustion gas mixture, said primary air/combustion gas mixture being supplied to the combustion chamber. A flue gas re-circulation system comprises a through-flow chamber which is connected to the combustion chamber and in which the secondary air is mixed with the flue gases occurring in the combustion chamber to form a secondary air/flue-gas mixture. The secondary air/flue-gas mixture is supplied to the primary air/combustion gas mixture in the combustion chamber by means of a device. At least one internal cylindrical surface of the through-flow chamber forms a Coanda profile in the direction of flow. A device for the temperature control of objects, in particular for drying painted vehicle bodies, comprises a temperature-control tunnel that is accommodated in a housing and that defines at least one tunnel section comprising at least one air outlet and at least one air inlet. A heating assembly, in which a hot primary gas can be generated by means of a burner unit of this type, is associated with the tunnel section.
