In a burner of an embodiment, a torch part includes: a torch combustor liner that is provided in a torch part casing and burns a fuel and an oxidant; a torch fuel supply part that supplies a fuel; a torch oxidant supply part that supplies an oxidant; an ignition device that ignites a fuel-air mixture; and a combustion gas pipe that is arranged at the center of the torch part and leads a combustion gas in the torch combustor liner to one end side of the torch part. The object of the present invention is to provide a high-temperature oxygen generation device and a high-temperature oxygen generation method which can efficiently supply preheated high-temperature oxygen gas regardless of pressure conditions from normal pressure to high pressure, without requiring upsizing or expansion of the equipment, and the present invention provides a high-temperature oxygen generation device (10) in which a high-temperature gas (G4) and an oxygen gas (G3) to be heated are mixed to generate a high-temperature oxygen gas (G5), wherein the high-temperature oxygen generation device (10) includes a burner (1) which generates the high-temperature gas (G4), and a preheating chamber (7) which is provided on the downstream side of the burner (1) and mixes the high-temperature gas (G4) and the oxygen gas (G3) to be heated, and the burner (1) includes a combustion chamber (5) which forms a flame by a fuel gas (G1) and an oxygen gas (G2) for combustion, a fuel flow path (2) which supplies the fuel gas (G1) into the combustion chamber (5), a first oxygen flow path (3) and a second oxygen flow path (4) which supply the oxygen gas (G2) for combustion into the combustion chamber (5), and a flow path (6) for oxygen to be heated which communicates with the preheating chamber (7), and supplies the oxygen gas (G3) to be heated toward the preheating chamber (7).

An embodiment of a torch igniter for a combustor of a gas turbine engine includes a combustion chamber oriented about an axis, a cap defining an axially upstream end of the combustion chamber, a tip defining the axially downstream end of the combustion chamber, an igniter wall extending from the cap to the tip and defining a radial extent of the combustion chamber, a structural wall coaxial with and surrounding the igniter wall, an outlet passage defined by the igniter wall within the tip, a glow plug housing configured to receive a glow plug and allow an innermost end of the glow plug to extend into the combustion chamber, and a cooling system. The cooling system includes an air inlet formed within an exterior of the structural wall, a cooling channel forming a flow path through the structural wall at the glow plug housing, and an air passage.
Fuel systems for torch ignition devices
A torch igniter system for a combustor of a gas turbine engine includes a housing defining a combustion chamber, an ignition source disposed at least partially in the combustion chamber, a fuel injector, a first fluid path connecting a first fuel source to the fuel injector, a second fluid path connecting an air source to the fuel injector, and a third fluid path connecting a second fuel source to the combustion chamber. The fuel injector is configured to inject fuel, air, or a mixture of fuel and air into the combustion chamber and to impinge on the ignition source.
COOLING FOR SURFACE IGNITORS IN TORCH IGNITION DEVICES
A torch ignitor system includes a torch wall defining a combustion chamber therein with a flame outlet passing out of the torch wall downstream of the combustion chamber. A fuel nozzle is mounted to the torch wall to issue fuel into the combustion chamber. An ignitor is mounted to the torch wall, extending into the combustion chamber to ignite fuel issued from the fuel nozzle. A cooling passage is in thermal communication with the ignitor for cooling the ignitor with fluid passing through the cooling passage.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASING THE CONCENTRATION OF PULVERIZED FUEL IN A POWER PLANT
A pre-ignition conduit for a pulverized fuel nozzle includes a duct having first and second opposing end portions, the first end portion configured to face an outlet of an igniter. The conduit further includes a cone-shaped concentrator for collecting and forwarding pulverized fuel into the duct for ignition, the cone-shaped concentrator being secured to the first end portion and located between the outlet of the igniter and the duct. The pre-ignition conduit functions as an ignition chamber within a pulverized fuel nozzle.
Cooling for surface ignitors in torch ignition devices
A torch ignitor system includes a torch wall defining a combustion chamber therein with a flame outlet passing out of the torch wall downstream of the combustion chamber. A fuel nozzle is mounted to the torch wall to issue fuel into the combustion chamber. An ignitor is mounted to the torch wall, extending into the combustion chamber to ignite fuel issued from the fuel nozzle. A cooling passage is in thermal communication with the ignitor for cooling the ignitor with fluid passing through the cooling passage.
