Comprehensive utilization system for high-temperature gasification and low-nitrogen combustion of biomass
A comprehensive utilization system for high-temperature gasification and low-nitrogen combustion of biomass comprises a gasifier, a boiler and a burner installed on the boiler. The outlet of the gasifier is connected to a fuel inlet of the burner. The boiler is provided with flue-gas exhaust ports connected to a chimney. Regenerative heat exchangers are provided between the flue-gas exhaust ports and the chimney, preheating air pipes are connected to the regenerative heat exchangers and then to an auxiliary mixing chamber. The auxiliary mixing chamber is provided with a first outlet connected to the inlet of the mixer, and a second outlet connected to the high-temperature air inlet of the gasifier and the second combustion-air inlet of the burner. An outlet of the mixer is connected with the first combustion-air inlet of the burner. The chimney is connected with the flue gas inlet of the gasifier through pipes and fans.
Twirling Flame Heater
This is an upright heater igniting combustible gas to induce a naturally aspirated flame within a glass tube. Air channels producing the naturally aspirated flame enters the glass tube in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the flame thus creating a twirling flame. Heat waves generated by the twirling flame within a glass tube rises to a heat concentrator and projected onto a parabolic heat shield thus reflecting the heat wave radially downward and outward.
Catalytic oxidizer
The invention comprises: a) first comburent supplying means (18) connected to the lower part of the oxidation chamber, for introducing pressurized oxygenated gas in the oxidation chamber at a speed that comprises a tangential component; b) a particle recirculation system, which comprises: a particle separator (24) on the upper part of the oxidation chamber for trapping hot particles of ash and unburned material, and a transportation system (25) for transferring trapped particles from the particle separator (24) to the base of the oxidation chamber; and c) a gas recirculation system comprising: a sucker (26) for suctioning combustion gases from the upper part of the oxidation chamber, and pipes (27) for transferring the suctioned gases to the base of the oxidation chamber. It provides an optimized thermal transfer that reduces the emission of pollutants in waste recovery.
COMBUSTOR
A combustor includes: a housing having an annular shape of which one end side is open and of which the other end side is closed; at least one introduction portion that introduces a fuel and an oxidizing gas into the housing to generate a tubular flow; and an ignition unit that ignites the fuel introduced into the housing. The ignition unit includes a discharge electrode and a ground electrode. A space that the fuel and the oxidizing gas reach is provided between the discharge electrode and the ground electrode.
Vortex hybrid rocket motor
Various embodiments of a vortex hybrid motor are described herein. In some embodiments, the vortex hybrid motor may include a combustion zone defined by a fuel core and/or motor housing. The combustion zone may include an upper zone and a central zone that each contribute to thrust created by the vortex hybrid motor. In some embodiments, an injection port configuration is described that includes a proximal injection port that may be controlled for modulating a delivery of an amount of oxidizer for adjusting an oxidizer-to-fuel ratio. In some embodiments, a fuel core configuration is described that provides radially varying gradients of fuel in order to achieve desired thrust profiles. In some embodiments, the fuel core may include a support structure and/or a proximal end of a nozzle of the vortex hybrid motor may extend into the fuel core.
Crude and waste oil burner
A burner capable of burning crude or other heavy oil. A combustion chamber is surrounded by a wall of thermal insulation. An air-fuel injector pipe extends through the wall and opens into the combustion chamber. An oil supply pipe extends along the interior of the air fuel injector pipe to an inner open end that is proximate the inner end of the air-fuel injector pipe. A venturi insert is fixed within the air-fuel injector pipe and has an orifice positioned outward of the open inner end of the oil supply pipe. A combustion air supply including a blower and a recuperator transfers heat from outgoing combusted exhaust gases to incoming combustion-supporting air being blown through the recuperator and the air fuel injector pipe into the combustion chamber.
Burner
A burner includes a first tube portion formed with an ejection port; a second tube portion that extends in the first tube portion toward the ejection port and to which gaseous mixture flows in from a side opposite to the ejection port; a third tube portion arranged in the first tube portion and including an open end positioned on the ejection port side; a closing portion that closes the open end; a coupling wall portion that closes a gap between the first tube portion and the second tube portion; a partition wall that is coupled to the first tube portion and the third tube portion, the partition wall being formed with a communication path; and an igniting portion that is arranged on the ejection port side with respect to the partition wall.
Combustion device
A combustion device includes a device main body having a combustion chamber installed above a cyclone melting furnace configured to combust a pyrolysis gas generated from a waste material after incineration while turning the pyrolysis gas, and configured to combust an unburnt gas discharged from the cyclone melting furnace. Further, the combustion device includes a plurality of sidewall boiler water pipes configured to cover a sidewall of the device main body from a periphery thereof and extending along the sidewall throughout upward and downward directions of the device main body.
High turndown ratio gaseous fuel burner nozzle and control
High turndown ratio gaseous fuel burner nozzles and the control thereof are provided. High turndown ratio gaseous fuel burner nozzles include a mechanically adjustable nozzle port, such as in the form of an iris port, for expanded turndown control. A nozzle extension longitudinally extending from the mechanical adjustable nozzle port can be included to assist in shaping the flow of combustible gas from the nozzle port. A laminar flow insert can be housed within the nozzle extension to assist in producing laminar flow of the combustible gas flowing therethrough. A burner nozzle controller in control communication with the mechanically adjustable nozzle port can adjust the size of the nozzle port to selectively maintain exit velocity of the gaseous fuel from the nozzle port for one or more of combustion stability and flame stability.
