BURNER ASSEMBLY, GAS TURBINE COMBUSTOR, AND GAS TURBINE
A burner assembly includes a plurality of bumers for mixing fuel and air. Each of the plurality of burners includes: at least one fuel nozzle for injecting the fuel; and a mixing passage into which the fuel injected from the at least one fuel nozzle and the air are introduced. Each fuel nozzle includes a protruding portion protruding upstream of an inlet of the mixing passage in a flow direction of the air. Each fuel nozzle includes a fuel injection hole formed on a side surface of the protruding portion. At least a portion of a first air passage for flowing the air is formed inside the protruding portion. The first air passage includes: an inlet formed on a surface of the protruding portion on an upstream side of the fuel injection hole in the flow direction of the air; and an outlet formed on a side surface of the protruding portion or a passage wall of the mixing passage. At least a portion of the outlet is formed downstream of the fuel injection hole in the flow direction of the air.
Multi fuel flame-less combustor
A flameless combustor usable with multiple fuels comprises a combustion chamber and fuel lines in communication with the chamber.
Burner arrangement having a peripheral staging concept
A burner arrangement has a plurality of mixing channels which extend parallel to the main axis of the burner arrangement and are arranged in at least two concentric circles, in which mixing channels fuel and discharge air from the compressor are mixed during the operation of the burner arrangement. The mixing channels are grouped together into fuel stages so as to produce an irregular staging in the peripheral direction of the burner arrangement.

COOLING FOR SURFACE IGNITORS IN TORCH IGNITION DEVICES
A torch ignitor system includes a torch wall defining a combustion chamber therein with a flame outlet passing out of the torch wall downstream of the combustion chamber. A fuel nozzle is mounted to the torch wall to issue fuel into the combustion chamber. An ignitor is mounted to the torch wall, extending into the combustion chamber to ignite fuel issued from the fuel nozzle. A cooling passage is in thermal communication with the ignitor for cooling the ignitor with fluid passing through the cooling passage.
FLUID SEEDERS
A seeder includes a housing defining a cavity, a housing gas inlet, and a seeder outlet. A sprayer is disposed within the cavity and includes a sprayer gas inlet configured to receive a gas, wherein the sprayer gas inlet is in fluid communication with the housing gas inlet. The sprayer also includes a sprayer liquid intake configured to be in fluid communication with the cavity to intake a liquid media from the cavity and a sprayer nozzle configured to be in fluid communication with the cavity above a liquid level. The sprayer is configured to combine the liquid media with the gas to spray a gas-liquid mixture through the sprayer nozzle and on to an interior spray surface of the housing.
Air directed fuel injection
A combustion chamber for a gas turbine is provided. The combustion chamber has a pilot burner device, a fuel injector, an ignitor unit and an air blast injector. The pilot burner device has a pilot body with a pilot surface facing an inner volume of the combustion chamber. The fuel injector has a fuel outlet for injecting a fuel into the inner volume, wherein the fuel outlet is arranged at the pilot surface. The ignitor unit is arranged at the pilot surface such that fuel which passes the ignitor unit is ignitable. The air blast injector is adapted for injecting an air blast into the inner volume, wherein the air blast injector includes an air blast outlet arranged at the pilot surface such that the air blast is injectable in the direction to the fuel outlet and the ignitor unit for directing the fuel to the ignitor unit.

Multi-physics fluid atomizer and methods
A fluid mixing device that includes a housing having a fuel inlet and at least one primary orifice positioned at the inlet, wherein the at least one orifice configured to disperse a stream of fuel into a plurality of fuel droplets. The plurality of fuel droplets contact a fuel impingement surface to break up the plurality of fuel droplets into a plurality of smaller secondary droplets and create a thin film of secondary droplets on the impingement surface. At least one pressurized air channel delivers an airflow into contact with the secondary droplets. The secondary droplets pass through a plurality of secondary outlet orifices to exit the housing. A size of the plurality of secondary droplets is reduced when passing out of the plurality of secondary orifices.
