Plug-resistant burner tip and method

A burner tip apparatus which is resistant to plugging, and a staged air method of operation which reduces the peak temperature of the flame of the burner tip to provide low levels of NO.sub.x and other emissions. The burner tip can be used as an auxiliary burner tip for stabilizing a main burner flame, or for other purposes.

BURNER AND GAS FIRED CLOTHES DRYER

The disclosure provides a burner and a gas-fired clothes dryer, where the burner includes a combustion barrel, a barrel-shaped gas mixing part and a disc-shaped flow guide part, the combustion barrel has a gas inlet, a barrel wall of the combustion barrel is uniformly provided with a plurality of vent holes; the gas mixing part is arranged in the combustion barrel and parallel to an axis of the combustion barrel, a gas inlet end of the gas mixing part is opposite to the gas inlet; the flow guide part is arranged in the combustion barrel and located between a gas outlet end of the gas mixing part and a closed end of the combustion barrel and inclined relative to the axis of the gas mixing part; a diameter of the flow guide part is between a diameter of the combustion

Heating system and method of operating same

A heating system can include a supply piping assembly configured to supply either a first fuel or a second fuel to at least one main burner, a first pilot burner and a second pilot burner. First and second electromagnetic valves can be operatively connected to an electrical power supply and at least one of the thermocouples. The first and second electromagnetic valves can be configured to permit and prevent the fuel from reaching at least one of the first pilot burner, the second pilot burner and the at least one main burner depending upon thermoelectric potential received from the at least one of the thermocouples.

Regenerative burner system and method of use

A method heats a furnace process chamber with the combustion of fuel gas. The method heats the process chamber in a preheat mode when the temperature of the process chamber is below the autoignition temperature of the fuel gas. The preheat mode forms preheated combustion air by directing the combustion air through a regenerative bed. A stream of the preheated combustion air is directed into the process chamber in a condition unmixed with fuel gas. The preheat mode also forms a fuel rich mixture of the fuel gas and unheated combustion air. The fuel rich mixture is directed into the process chamber adjacent to the stream of preheated combustion air.

Burner tube for gas grill

The present inventions provide, among other things, tapered burner tubes having raised gas ports and a smooth interior surface free from obstructions. Venturi members and air shutters may also be included.

Conveyor oven air system

A conveyor oven for cooking food and having an oven chamber in which food is cooked; a conveyor moveable to convey food within the oven chamber; a burner assembly operable to emit a flame to heat air for cooking food moving within the oven chamber on the conveyor; a burner tube extending into a compartment and positioned to receive at least a portion of the flame emitted by the burner assembly; and one or more passive tubes in the compartment positioned opposite the burner tube, wherein elongated baffles are located between adjacent passive tubes, wherein a baffle plate is located between the burner and passive tubes to restrict airflow from the burner tube to the passive tube, and/or wherein shelf assemblies in the oven enable movement (and in some cases removal) of a shelf with a corresponding fan and/or motor without disturbing other shelves and their corresponding fans and/or motors.
