Catalytic combustion burner made of porous material, with optimised operating performance and bottle equipped with such a burner
A catalytic combustion burner made of porous material and a bottle equipped with such a burner have an optimized operating performance, which enables the burner to withstand and not be extinguished when it is subjected to strong air currents such as air conditioning.
Apparatus and method for diffusing a chemical substance
The present invention provides an apparatus for diffusing a chemical substance comprising: a chamber having a diffusing member arranged to diffuse a chemical substance to air disposed within the chamber, wherein the chamber is in communication with an air-inlet arranged to receive air from an exterior of the chamber and an air-outlet arranged to expel air from within the chamber.
METHOD FOR APPLYING A CATALYST TO A SURFACE OF THE CATALYTIC COMBUSTION BURNER
The present invention is directed to a method for applying a catalyst to the surface of a catalytic combustion burner that allows better distribution of the catalyst on the surface of the end piece of the burner, and thus prevents too high a temperature at the central zone. The present invention is also directed to a catalytic combustion burner which can be coated with a catalyst in accordance with the method of the invention, and to a catalytic combustion bottle adapted to contain a combustible liquid and to receive at its neck a catalytic combustion burner of the invention.
CATALYTIC COMBUSTION BURNER MADE OF POROUS MATERIAL, WITH OPTIMISED OPERATING PERFORMANCE AND BOTTLE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A BURNER
A catalytic combustion burner made of porous material and a bottle equipped with such a burner. The burner has optimized operating performance which enables it to withstand and not be extinguished when it is subjected to strong air currents such as air conditioning.
Membrane catalytic heater
A portable catalytic combustion heater, wherein fuel vapor (11) and air (10) are supplied to a catalyst (6) which promotes the flameless combustion of fuel and releases that. The fuel is supplied as a liquid, passes through a selectively permeable membrane (8) such that fuel vapor exits the membrane and is fed to the catalyst (6). Additional features include porous supports and means of enhancing and diminishing the catalytic rate of combustion and controlling the heat output.
Catalytic burner
A catalytic burner with electric start. The method of using the catalytic burner comprises an electric-start device that may actuated via a switch or remotely via radio signal.
Field-ready oven
A field-ready oven has reinforced telescoped side walls that extend and hold a base, shelf, tray support and cover spaced apart. A low air intake and a semipermeable membrane deliver air and vapor fuel to catalyst pads on the shelf. Radiant heat from exothermic reaction is diffused over a bottom of a tray. Hot gas circulates around the diffuser and tray with a chimney effect before exhausting. A lid on the cover lifts for access to the tray. A fuel container in the oven forces fuel through a capillary restriction to limit fuel flow. A spring in the container is released to start fuel flow.
Catalytic fragrance burner assembly and a method of manufacture thereof
A catalytic fragrance burner assembly, comprising: a porous core of sintered material; a catalyst, deposited on or around the core; and a wick, in communication with the porous core, and arranged to draw fuel to the core.
Fuel compositions for catalytic burners
Fuels compositions based on exempt compounds are provided. These fuels are useful in catalytic burner systems that can be used to disperse fragrances, insecticides, insect repellants (e.g., citronella), aromatherapy compounds, medicinal compounds, deodorizing compounds, disinfectant compositions, fungicides and herbicides.
CATALYTIC BURNER
A catalytic burner with electric start is provided. The method of using the catalytic burner comprises an electric-start device that may actuated via a switch or remotely via radio signal.
