COMBUSTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A combustion system using at least 90 wt % propylene glycol based liquid fuel includes a first fuel tank, a wick inserted in the first tank, a sensing unit configured to receive an activating signal and sense the liquid level of the propylene glycol based liquid fuel in the first fuel tank and send a fuel replenishment signal accordingly, a second fuel tank, a conduit system connected with the first and the second fuel tanks, and a drive unit connected with the conduit system and configured to receive the fuel replenishment signal so as to cause the propylene glycol based liquid fuel in the second fuel tank to replenish the first fuel tank through the conduit system as well as to cool the wick.
SPIRAL FLAME TORCH APPARATUS
An invention is provided for a spiral flame torch apparatus. The spiral flame torch apparatus generally includes a base having a bottom plate, lower stabilization plate, and an upper stabilization plate. Situated on the base is a glass halo comprised of a plurality of rounded glass sheets. The glass sheets each include vertical sides that overlap one the vertical side of another rounded glass sheet, leaving gaps between the sheets. Disposed within the glass halo is a paraffin based flame source having a large wick disposed centrally within the flame source.
METHOD FOR APPLYING A CATALYST TO A SURFACE OF THE CATALYTIC COMBUSTION BURNER
The present invention is directed to a method for applying a catalyst to the surface of a catalytic combustion burner that allows better distribution of the catalyst on the surface of the end piece of the burner, and thus prevents too high a temperature at the central zone. The present invention is also directed to a catalytic combustion burner which can be coated with a catalyst in accordance with the method of the invention, and to a catalytic combustion bottle adapted to contain a combustible liquid and to receive at its neck a catalytic combustion burner of the invention.
Combustion Device
A combustion device includes a fuel reservoir which includes a container and a tray disposed on the container and a wick inserted through a first hole of the tray and into a space of the container. Further, the combustion device includes a heat insulating and dissipating device which includes a heat insulating member and a heat dissipating member encircling the wick. The heat insulating member is made of a non-metallic material. The heat dissipating member is made of a metallic material.
FIRE FIXTURE FOR HOT TUB
A hot tub including a hot tub basin with a plurality of seats formed therein, the hot tub basin configured to hold and recirculate water, a housing surrounding the hot tub basin, and one or more fire fixtures provided proximate an upper portion of the hot tub basin to selectively produce open flame.
