POWDER FUEL COMBUSTION APPARATUS AND COMBUSTION METHOD
The invention provides a combustion apparatus and a combustion method capable of ashing matter to be combusted inside a combustion chamber efficiently without providing a device such as an unburned combustibles measurement device and without varying the direction of injection of air into the combustion chamber. The powder fuel combustion apparatus 1 includes a fuel supply device 10, a primary combustion chamber 20, a secondary combustion chamber 50, an air supply/ash discharge device 32, and a cyclone dust collector 60. An inclined portion 23a is formed at a bottom portion 23 of the primary combustion chamber 20, and the inclined portion 23a includes bottom portion air supply ports 31 and an air supply/ash discharge device 32. The air supply/ash discharge device 32 includes a bottom portion air injection nozzle 34 and an ash delivery device 35. The bottom portion air injection nozzle 34 has upper and lower ends opened, and a plurality of injection ports 34a through which air is injected are formed on a side surface. During combustion of the powder fuel F, air having a strong wind pressure is injected through the bottom portion air injection nozzle 34 either regularly or irregularly to agitate the powder fuel F and achieve a good combustion state.
HAND TORCH, BASE, AND REGULATOR SYSTEM
Provided is a torch including a body having a first portion and a second portion angled relative to the first portion, a control knob at a top of the second portion for adjusting a flow of fuel through the torch, a trigger at a top of the first portion that is movable from an off position to an on position to at actuate an igniter, and a burn tube extending from an end of the second portion away from the first and second portions.
REGENERATIVE BURNER FOR STRONGLY REDUCED NOx EMISSIONS
The invention relates to a burner with a refractory burner body 1, 2, 3 for burning liquid or aerosol fuels, in particular, gaseous fuels. With the aim of reducing NO.sub.x emissions, the burner body comprises a gas nozzle 7, 9, 10, 11 and a plurality of air nozzles 4, 6, which are at least partially formed as integral mouldings in the burner body and flow out on a front side 16 of the burner body. Here, the air nozzles are symmetrically arranged around the gas nozzle and diverge at an angle to the gas nozzle. Likewise, the invention relates to a method for burning liquid or aerosol fuels, in particular, gaseous fuels with reduced NO.sub.x emissions.
MULTI-TUBE BURNER SYSTEM FOR EFFICIENT MIXING OF FUEL AND AIR FOR COMBUSTION
A multi-tube burner system for efficient mixing of fuel and air for combustion is disclosed. The multi-tube burner system includes an air supply plenum, a multi-tube burner, and a combustor. Further, the multi-tube burner includes a set of tubes including the air supply section to receive combustion air and supply the received combustion air to a mixing section. Furthermore, the multi-tube burner includes a set of fuel pipes to receive fuel from a set of fuel inlets and supply the received fuel to a set of fuel plenums. Furthermore, a pair of fuel receiving channels receive the fuel from the set of fuel plenums and a fuel injector pin injects the received fuel from the pair of fuel receiving channels to the mixing section. Further, a set of mixing holes allow egression of the combustion air and the fuel mixture from the mixing section to the combustor.

FUEL INJECTOR FOR A TURBINE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine includes a compressor section, combustion section, and turbine section is serial flow arrangement. A fuel injector supplies a mixture of fuel and air for combustion within the combustion section. An outer wall defines a mixing passage extending along a stream-wise direction including a first mixing region and a second mixing region. A first fuel passage supplies a first fuel to the first mixing region and an air passage supplies a supply of air to the first mixing region. A second fuel passage supplies a second fuel to the second mixing region.
