METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING COMBUSTIBLE SUBSTANCE
A treatment method and apparatus is provided to effectively use a combustible waste such as waste plastic, waste tires, rice husk, wood shavings, PKS, RDF and sludge while maintaining stable operation; to improve the combustion efficiency of a fossil fuel such as coal and coke; and furthermore to reduce the NOx concentration in a cement kiln exhaust gas. An apparatus 1 for treating a combustible, the apparatus comprising: a mixer 3 for mixing a combustible C with a preheated raw material R2, which has a temperature of 600° C. or higher and 900° C. or lower and which is drawn from a preheater cyclone of a cement burning device 10, to gasify the combustible; and a feeder 5 for feeding the gasified combustible and the preheated raw material (mixed raw material M) to a region from an inlet end 13a of the cement burning device to a calciner 12. When the combustible and the preheated raw material are mixed, moisture may be added to cause water gas shift reaction, and the resultant water gas and the preheated raw material may be introduced to the region from the inlet end of the cement burning device to the calciner.
HYBRID FEEDING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTING CO-FIRING AMOUNT OF DECAYING GARBAGE
A hybrid feeding device for automatically adjusting a co-firing amount of decaying garbage. The device comprises a mechanical grate furnace, a hybrid garbage conveying device, a raw garbage feeding device, a decaying garbage feeding device, a hybrid garbage crushing device, and a control center. The raw garbage feeding device, the decaying garbage feeding device, and the hybrid garbage conveying device are all connected to the control center. The decaying garbage feeding device is used for transporting decaying garbage to the raw garbage feeding device. The raw garbage feeding device is positioned between the decaying garbage feeding device and the hybrid garbage conveying device. The hybrid garbage crushing device is used for crushing garbage and inputting the garbage to the mechanical grate furnace. The mechanical grate furnace is internally provided with a plurality of temperature sensors, and the plurality of temperature sensors are connected to the control center.
System and process for combusting coal and beneficiated organic-carbon-containing feedstock
A coal combustion process is described using coal feedstock and processed biomass feedstock to reduce adverse by-products in a coal combusting apparatus including the reduction of carbon dioxide by at least 50 volume %. The coal feedstock is selected from coal, a coal substitute processed biomass, or an aggregate blend of coal and processed biomass. The biomass feedstock comprises processed biomass pellets.
THERMAL OXIDIZATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS WITH GREENHOUSE GAS CAPTURE
A thermal oxidizer including an oxidation mixer, an oxidation chamber, and a retention chamber forming a fluid flow path for thermal oxidation of a waste gas. The thermal oxidizer also includes first and second electric heating elements. In operation, the first and second electric heating elements pre-heat portions of the thermal oxidizer. Once a threshold temperature has been reached, the oxidation mixer facilitates a combustible mixture of the waste gas and an oxidant into an combustible waste gas stream, the oxidation chamber facilitates a primary combustion reaction of the combustible waste gas stream into an oxygenated waste gas stream, the retention chamber facilitates a secondary combustion reaction of the oxygenated waste gas stream into oxidized gases and the heat dissipator reduces the temperature of the flow of oxidized gases within the heat dissipator.
