A first source of combustion air is supplied across the top of the combustion chamber while a second source of combustion air passes through the perforated plate into the combustion chamber. The combustion/carbonizing system is capable of operating in a continuous manner for combustion wood or waste material to the desired degree required by the end user for the purpose of reducing the volume of the material as well as the associated emissions while generating valuable char and boichar as an end product. For some applications, the combustion/carbonizing system may be operated to combust completely the wood or waste material.

An incinerator transport trailer has a chassis and an incinerator receiving and supporting cradle pivotally attached to the chassis for movement relative to the chassis between a travel position in which the cradle is positioned parallel to and extends along the chassis and a raised position in which the cradle extends generally perpendicular to the chassis. A first incinerator engagement is attached to the cradle toward a first end of the cradle for back-and-forth movement along a direction extending generally between the first and second ends of the cradle. A second incinerator engagement is attached to the cradle toward a second end of the cradle. The first incinerator engagement is movable to increase or decrease a distance between the first incinerator engagement and the second incinerator engagement to removably secure an incinerator to the cradle.

The processor may be configured to detect presence of a waste in the waste receptacle, configure the system to operate in the second mode and to pass waste into the burn chamber, configure the compact waste combustion system to operate in the first mode after the waste has passed into the burn chamber, and activate the burner when the compact waste combustion system is operated in the first mode and the waste is located in the burn chamber.
