ROTATING AND MOVABLE BED GASIFIER PRODUCING HIGH CARBON CHAR
The present invention includes a gasifier for gasifying fuels having a container with a top, sidewalls and a bottom for facilitating the gasifying process. One or more open vertical shafts extend downward inside the container for allowing a downdraft or updraft of air and fuel for the gasifying process. A rotating bed is preferably included inside the container and below the one or more shafts for receiving the fuel. The bed rotates essentially perpendicular to the shaft to facilitate even heating and gasifying of the fuel. The bed is further movable relative to the vertical shaft in order to increase or decrease the volume of fuel flow to the fuel.
Sanitizing Biogenic Waste Using Waste Gas from an Incineration System
In newly industrialized countries and Third World countries, biogenic waste frequently constitutes a threat to ground water due to its being contaminated with bacteria and germs. In order to decontaminate such biogenic waste, one or more closable sanitizing chambers are fitted with open containers that are filled with the biogenic waste. The sanitizing chambers are closed, and hot waste gases (80° C. to 140° C.) are guided through the sanitizing chambers until germs and bacteria in the biogenic waste are killed. The sanitizing of biogenic waste eliminates the waste as a source of diseases and ground water contamination. The invention is suitable for decentralized locations, for example, in Third World countries or newly industrialized countries or places with stand-alone grids. The invention can have either a stationary or a mobile design.

METHOD AND FACILITY FOR PRODUCING ELECTRICITY FROM AN SRF LOAD
A method and a facility for producing electricity, wherein the following steps are performed: a) supplying a solid recovered fuel, b) producing a raw synthesis gas from the solid recovered fuel, c) purifying the raw synthesis gas in order to generate a synthesis gas in which the reduced concentration of tars determines a dew point of the tars less than or equal to 20 C., d) cleaning the synthesis gas purified in this way in order to obtain a clean synthetic gas, e) lowering the relative humidity of the clean synthesis gas, and f) injecting at least a portion thereof into a gas engine in order to produce electricity.

Renewable combined cycle low turbine boost
A method and system for cost effectively converting a feedstock using thermal plasma, or other styles of gassifiers, into a feedwater energy transfer system. The feedstock can be any organic material, or fossil fuel. The energy transferred in the feedwater is converted into steam which is then injected into the low turbine of a combined cycle power plant. Heat is extracted from gas product issued by a gassifier and delivered to a power plant via its feedwater system. The gassifier is a plasma gassifier and the gas product is syngas. In a further embodiment, prior to performing the step of extracting heat energy, there is provided the further step of combusting the syngas in an afterburner. An air flow, and/or EGR flow is provided to the afterburner at a rate that is varied in response to an operating characteristic of the afterburner. The air flow to the afterburner is heated.
Mobile Biomass Harvester with Guidance System
A mobile platform comprises a header, a biomass processor, and a guidance system. The header is configured to harvest biomass. The biomass processor is configured to compact the biomass into a multitude of compressed biomass pieces. The guidance system is configured to guide the mobile platform at a speed determined by the operating capacity of the mobile platform.
