Process for producing liquid fuel from waste hydrocarbon and/or organic material, reactor, apparatus, uses and managing system thereof
Processes for producing liquid fuels from a mainly organic starting material with a reduced content in water and/or with a reduced content in solids are disclosed. The mainly organic starting material can be at least partially liquified and optionally further dewatered. The obtained at least partially liquid fraction can be thereafter used as feeding stream that is submitted to a pyrolysis treatment resulting in a solid gas fraction allowing the recovering of a liquid fuels after a controlled liquid solid separation treatment. There are also provided various other processes for producing liquid fuel from waste hydrocarbon and/or organic material as well as reactors, apparatuses, uses and managing systems thereof.
Crude and waste oil burner
A burner capable of burning crude or other heavy oil. A combustion chamber is surrounded by a wall of thermal insulation. An air-fuel injector pipe extends through the wall and opens into the combustion chamber. An oil supply pipe extends along the interior of the air fuel injector pipe to an inner open end that is proximate the inner end of the air-fuel injector pipe. A venturi insert is fixed within the air-fuel injector pipe and has an orifice positioned outward of the open inner end of the oil supply pipe. A combustion air supply including a blower and a recuperator transfers heat from outgoing combusted exhaust gases to incoming combustion-supporting air being blown through the recuperator and the air fuel injector pipe into the combustion chamber.

Method and mobile appartus for improving in-situ combustion of a combustible material lying on nominally planar surface
A method and apparatus, for improving the control and the efficiency of in-situ combustion (i.e. burning of oil spills atop bodies of water) of combustible waste materials on land or sea to cleanup such waste, that is also less complex than similar apparatuses, whereby the apparatus traverses over a surface containing combustible material, allowing for vortex flow incineration of the material to occur inside a combustion chamber, aided by a vortical flow of air which is controlled for greater combustion efficiency. Compared with current methods and apparatuses to cleanup similar waste, the present method requires minimal moving parts, is mobile, is low cost, is easy to construct, enables high-quality combustion, burns faster and more complete, produces low emissions, incinerates waste material on land and water, and mitigates the creation of combustion residue which thereby mitigates the adverse effects of such combustion residue that smothers ocean life.
Burner monitoring and control systems
Systems and methods for monitoring and controlling burning operations are provided. A method of one embodiment includes igniting oil or gas with a burner (282) during a burning operation and monitoring the burning operation with a camera (290). This monitoring of the burning operation can include acquiring image data for a flame (290) of the burner via the camera and analyzing the acquired image data to detect image features indicative of combustion of the oil or gas via the burner. Additional systems, methods, and devices are also disclosed.
CRUDE AND WASTE OIL BURNER

High protein organic materials as fuel and processes for making the same
A process of making a fuel product from a non-combustible high protein organic material such as a waste material. The high protein organic material is pulverized to a particle size whose particle size less than 2 mm. The moisture content of the high protein organic material is mechanically reduced and dried to reduce the moisture content to less than ten percent (10%). The high protein organic waste material is fed into a combustion chamber and separated during combustion such as by spraying of the high protein organic waste material within the combustion chamber. Temperature and combustion reactions within the combustion chamber may be controlled by injection of steam within the combustion chamber.

Flaring boom kit for collecting spills during drilling and workover flaring operations
A flaring boom assembly for a flaring system of a rig is disclosed. The flaring boom assembly includes a tray device comprising an open top, a slanted bottom, and an outlet, and a telescoping mechanism mechanically coupled to the tray device and configured to adjust a relative position of the tray device with respect to a burning head of the flaring system based on a flaring intensity of the flaring system. The spills of the flaring system fall through the open top onto the slanted bottom and move along the slanted bottom toward the outlet based on a gravitational force.
