An exhaust tube holding member is supported by an exhaust pipe and holds, on an inner peripheral surface thereof, an exhaust tube to be inserted into the exhaust pipe. The exhaust tube holding member includes a first annular portion, a second annular portion, and an outward protruding portion. The first annular portion is formed with a first through hole. The second annular portion is formed with a second through hole in communication with the first through hole and having an inner diameter larger than that of the first through hole, and is connected to the first annular portion. The outward protruding portion protrudes peripherally outward from an outer peripheral surface of the second annular portion and is supported by the exhaust pipe. The inward protruding portion protrudes peripherally inward from an inner peripheral surface of the second annular portion and is supported by the exhaust pipe.

An exhaust pipe holding member includes an annular portion, an annular outward protruding portion (protruding piece), and a flange portion. The annular portion is formed with a through hole penetrating from one end through the other end. The outward protruding portion protrudes peripherally outward from the outer peripheral surface of the annular portion. The flange portion is disposed closer to one end than to the outward protruding portion, extending peripherally outward from the outer peripheral surface of the annular portion, and is configured to have a thickness greater than that of the outward protruding portion. The flange portion is formed with an annular groove surrounding the through hole.

A closing member includes an annular portion and a flange portion. The annular portion is provided with a through hole and is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of an exhaust tube in at least a part of the through hole. The flange portion extends from an outer circumferential surface of the annular portion toward an outer side and is larger in outer diameter than an exhaust pipe. The flange portion contacts a tip end portion of the exhaust pipe on outside of a building so as to close a gap between the exhaust pipe and the exhaust tube. The flange portion is formed to protrude toward an outer side such that an entire circumference of the flange portion extends beyond an outer circumferential surface of the tip end portion of the exhaust pipe.

APPARTUS, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING A MODULAR TUBULAR EXHAUST

The modular tubular exhaust system includes a first tubular body, a second tubular body and at least one third tubular body connecting to form, a fully assembled configuration, a vertically arranged exhaust pipe. The first, the second, and the third tubular bodies each have a tubular body first end and a tubular body second end where the first ends and second ends are configured to mate with each other to form the vertically arranged exhaust pipe. The system further includes tabs that extend radially outward on opposing sides of the tubular bodies to allow a plurality of fasteners to attach tubular bodies together when arranged in the vertical configuration. The assembled configuration may vary within the spirit and scope of the disclosure, for example, in some embodiments, the system may only have a first and a second tubular section or a first, second, and a plurality of third tubular sections.

PASSIVE AND NO-LOSS WEATHER CAP FOR PROTECTIONOF WIND INDUCED DOWNDRAFT IN SENSITIVE EXHAUST SYSTEM

The invention provides a device for removing heat from a building, the device having: a first tubular member defining a first cavity; a second tubular member defining a second cavity, whereby said second tubular member resides within the first cavity and is coaxial to the first tubular member; a double conic body coaxially residing in the first cavity and coaxially positioned with the second tubular member; and a flange dimensioned to extend over at least a portion of the periphery of the existing flue so as to aid in supporting the device on the flue.

Cross compatible adapter for chimney sections with different outer diameters

An adapter and adapter system for connecting a female end of a first chimney portion to a male end of a second chimney portion. The adapter includes a first radial adapter portion with a first inner surface and a first outer surface extending along a first axis and wherein the first inner surface and the first outer surface are substantially coaxial. The adapter further includes a first locking interface protruding outward from the first outer surface and configured to engage with a first locking interface of the first chimney portion and a second locking interface protruding inward from the first inner surface and configured to engage with a second interlocking interface of the second chimney.
