DEVICE FOR CLEANING AND REMOTELY INSPECTING A CHIMNEY
A device for cleaning a chimney preferably includes a rod assembly, cleaning arms, fan blades, a camera, and a stabilizing/positioning assembly. The cleaning arms are provided on an assembly that includes a rotatable hub with the cleaning arms extending from the hub. The fan blades may also extend from the hub or they may be provided separately. The camera is continuously rotatable around the longitudinal axis to allow an uninterrupted 360 scan of the chimney. The stabilizing/positioning assembly is effective to position the cleaning assembly hub a pre-selected stabilizing/positioning distance from an interior wall of a chimney while the hub rotates in the chimney. The cleaning and fan hub(s) is driven by a cable surrounded by a casing that allows the cable to rotate in the casing without rotating the casing. Controls allow the operator to control the speed and direction of the cleaning arms and the camera.
DEVICE FOR THE CLEANING OF FLUE GAS TUBES OF A BOILER PLANT WITH A CLEANING HOSE, A HOSE STORE AND A HOSE GUIDE
A cleaning hose conveying module is proposed for the simple and quick cleaning of flue gas tubes, with which the cleaning hose can be conveyed from a hose store into a hose guide. A hose cleaning means is formed by a rinsing and drying unit for a hose after its withdrawal from the flue gas tube.
Chimney cleaning system
The present disclosure provides a chimney cleaning system. The chimney cleaning system may include a support bracket configured to couple with a chimney pipe. The chimney cleaning system may include a first swivel arm and a second swivel arm. The system may further include a spring that connects to a first swivel arm. The chimney cleaning system may include a gearbox, and a shaft, which may be a horizontal shaft, coupled to the gearbox. The chimney cleaning system may further include a chain having a first end and a second end. The first end connects with the first swivel arm via the spring and the second end connects to the second swivel arm. The actuation of the shaft causes a rotation of the chain about the internal surface of the chimney pipe thereby causing the chain to clean soot, creosote, and other debris from at least a portion of the internal surface of the chimney pipe.
