Disclosed is a particle heating landscape furnace, which includes a combustion device. The combustion device includes a vertically arranged cover pipe, a grid and a combustion assembly. The combustion assembly has a feed chamber, a flame outlet and a flame outlet opposite to the flame outlet. A feed chamber is arranged obliquely, the flame outlet and the discharge port are both connected with the feed chamber, and the cover pipe is arranged on a periphery of the flame outlet, the grid is arranged on an outer side of the discharge port.

Feed mixture distribution device
A feed mixture distribution device configured to even out a feed of feed mixture in an annular feed mixture feed channel of a burner. The feed mixture distribution device includes a cylindrical member having a cylindrical wall, a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal central axis X. The cylindrical member is at the first end provided with rectangular flat plate means, which extend radially from the cylindrical wall of the cylindrical member and which are arranged symmetrically about the longitudinal central axis X of the cylindrical member. The cylindrical wall of the cylindrical member is between the rectangular flat plate and the second end provided with helical plate means arranged symmetrically about the longitudinal central axis X of the cylindrical member.
FEED MIXTURE DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
A feed mixture distribution device configured to even out a feed of feed mixture in an annular feed mixture feed channel of a burner. The feed mixture distribution device includes a cylindrical member having a cylindrical wall, a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal central axis X. The cylindrical member is at the first end provided with rectangular flat plate means, which extend radially from the cylindrical wall of the cylindrical member and which are arranged symmetrically about the longitudinal central axis X of the cylindrical member. The cylindrical wall of the cylindrical member is between the rectangular flat plate and the second end provided with helical plate means arranged symmetrically about the longitudinal central axis X of the cylindrical member.
Start-up torch
An apparatus includes a tuyere, a plasma torch positioned to inject hot gas into the tuyere, and a plurality of nozzles configured to inject a combustible material into the tuyere for combustion of the combustible material within the tuyere. The apparatus can be used to practice a method including: injecting a combustible material into a plurality of tuyeres in a wall of a reactor vessel, using a plasma torch to inject hot gas into the tuyeres to ignite the combustible material, and directing heat from combustion of the combustible material into the reactor vessel to preheat the reactor vessel.
START-UP TORCH
An apparatus includes a tuyere including a tubular chamber having an internal wall defined by a mandrel; a plasma torch assembly including a torch positioned to inject hot gas into the tuyere and having a tubular structure that extends along an axis of the chamber; the plasma torch assembly further including a shroud head configured to inject shroud gas between the internal wall of the chamber and the tubular structure of the torch; a pipe positioned around at least a portion of the mandrel forming a plenum at least partially encircling the mandrel; and a plurality of nozzles in the chamber internal wall configured to inject a combustible material from the plenum to a space between the internal wall of the chamber and the tubular structure of the torch.
