Premixing apparatus, heat source apparatus, and water heater
A premixing apparatus includes a mixing unit, an air supply adjusting unit, and a gas switching unit. The mixing unit draws a fuel gas in the mixing unit by supplied air to mix the fuel gas and the supplied air with each other. The air supply adjusting unit applies a load on the supplied air flowing toward the mixing unit and switches the load. The gas switching unit switches a gas amount of the fuel gas to be supplied to the mixing unit.
Combustion staging system
A combustion staging system has: a splitter; pilot and mains fuel manifolds; mains flow control valves; and fuel servo line. Each mains flow control valve has a chamber containing a piston, the chamber to a piston mains side fed by the mains fuel manifold, and the chamber to a piston servo side fed by the servo line. The piston has an open pilot-and-mains position allowing flow from the chamber mains side to the respective injector mains discharge orifice. The piston prevents flow from the chamber mains side. The piston is movable under a pressure change in the servo line relative to the mains fuel manifold. The system has a servo pump and a hydraulic motor driving it. The servo pump changes fuel pressure. Motive power for the hydraulic motor is fuel diverted from a fuel pump high pressure output, the motor returning the diverted fuel to a low pressure input.
Fuel oxygen conversion unit with a fuel gas separator
A fuel oxygen conversion unit includes a contactor defining a liquid fuel inlet, a stripping gas inlet and a fuel/gas mixture outlet; and a fuel gas separator defining a fuel/gas mixture inlet in flow communication with the fuel/gas mixture outlet of the contactor and an axis. The fuel gas separator further includes a stationary casing; and a separator assembly including a core and a plurality of paddles extending from the core, the separator assembly rotatable about the axis within the stationary casing to separate a fuel/gas mixture received through the fuel/gas mixture inlet into a liquid fuel flow and stripping gas flow.
FLAMED-BASED VACUUM GENERATOR
The present disclosure discloses a flamed-based vacuum generator, including a shell and a combustion assembly, where the shell has a cavity, the cavity being a space having at least one opening, and the combustion assembly includes a combustible object and an igniter, the igniter being configured to ignite the combustible object, the combustible object generating a flame in the cavity, and the flame extinguishing in the cavity. In the present disclosure, through in-depth study of the internal mechanism of vacuum generated by flame combustion, it is found that the extinguishing process of a flame is the key to the generation of vacuum, and a larger flame and more sufficient combustion indicate a higher vacuum pressure generated in the cavity after the flame is extinguished.

Integrated fuel nozzle connection
A gas turbine includes a compressor, a turbine, and a combustor disposed downstream from the compressor and upstream from the turbine. The combustor includes an end cover. The combustor also includes a flange. The flange includes an internal fluid passage defined within the flange and the flange is coupled to an internal face of the end cover. A fuel port is integrally joined with the flange. The fuel port extends through the end cover between the flange and an inlet positioned outside of the end cover. The inlet of the fuel port is in fluid communication with the internal fluid passage of the flange.

Heater with valve configuration
Disclosed is a dual-fuel heater having one or more thermocouples that operate a control valve that, in turn, controls whether fuel is distributed from a regulator to a burner based on the signal generated by the thermocouple(s). Further disclosed is a primary fuel selector valve that selects the fuel being used based on the operation of a user. The primary fuel selector valve provides fuel to the control valve upstream from the thermocouples, allowing for upstream control mechanisms such as a slave valve, to control the flow of fuel to the control valve.

FLUID INJECTION SYSTEMS HAVING FLUID LINE PURGING
A fluid injection system can include a main flow line, a primary flow line connected to the main flow line, and a primary flow valve disposed between the primary flow line and the main flow line and configured to allow injectant flow to the primary flow line from the main flow line in an open primary flow valve state, and to prevent injectant flow to the primary flow line from the main flow line in a closed primary flow valve state. The system can include a secondary flow line connected to the main flow line and a secondary flow valve disposed between the secondary flow line and the main flow line and configured to selectively allow injectant flow to the secondary flow line from the main flow line in an open secondary flow valve state, and to prevent injectant flow to the secondary flow line from the main flow line in a closed secondary flow valve state. The system can include a primary purge branch configured and a secondary purge branch configured to be in fluid communication with a purge gas line to receive a purge gas flow from the purge gas line.
