TORCH SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC FUEL REPLENISHMENT
20230095561 · 2023-03-30 ·

A system of automatically refueled liquid fuel burning torches includes a central fuel reservoir and a pump interconnected with the torches by a fuel plumbing system. When the fuel reaches a lower level in the torches, the plumbing system is automatically pressurized by the pump so that the fuel flows through the plumbing system to raise the fuel to a higher level in the local torch reservoirs. The refueling can be controlled by level sensors and valves in the torches. A remotely operated wick seal can exclude air from torch interiors and prevent fuel spills. A central controller and/or local torch controllers can be powered by wires and/or by batteries, which can be recharged by solar power. The controllers can be wirelessly monitored and/or controlled by software running on a remote device. The remote device and software can control a plurality of the systems.

Said steam generator system comprise a hydrogen source, an oxygen source, a nitrogen source, a water source, a steam source, a hydrogen-oxygen handling unit, a cooling unit, a one or more H2-O2 steam generators and a control unit. Said steam generator system is configured to provide said hydrogen source to said hydrogen-oxygen handling unit through an oxygen passage, said oxygen source to said hydrogen-oxygen handling unit through a hydrogen passage, and said nitrogen source to selectively purge said oxygen passage and said hydrogen passage. Said water source provide water to said cooling unit. Said cooling unit is configured to receive said water source and said steam source.

Self-pumping fuel injector for a gas turbine engine and method of operation

A self-pumping fuel injector includes a pump and a motor for, in-part, delivering fuel to a combustor at higher fuel pressures during start-up and ramping-up conditions. Each pump may include a stationary flow interuptor that intermittently and variably supplies fuel to a rotating spindle that, in-turn, expels the fuel into a nozzle of the injector for improve fuel spray distributions.

COMBUSTION-POWERED FASTENER DRIVING TOOL FUEL CELL ASSEMBLY
