APPARATUS FOR COMBUSTION OF NATURAL GAS FROM PNEUMATIC CONTROLLERS
Apparatus and method for capturing and combusting all vented natural gas and control natural gases from pneumatic controllers for oil field equipment are described. After an oil or gas well is drilled and completed, separators or treaters, as an example of oil field equipment, are installed on the surface to separate the liquids (oil/condensate and water) and gases (natural gas/methane). Pressure control valves, liquid control valves, temperature control valves, and the like, are pneumatically operated by the natural gas/methane that the separator is processing for sale, when electricity is not available to provide power for these operations. Presently, the pneumatic controllers discharge the pneumatic gas/methane to the atmosphere.
Gas grill with temperature control
Systems and methods for operating a gas-fired appliance such as a gas-fired cooking grill are provided. An embodiment of the system includes a gas burner for heating a chamber of the gas-fired appliance. The system includes a first valve associated with the gas burner to control a gas flow to the gas burner. The system includes a second valve configured to controllably supply gas to the gas burner via the first valve. The second valve is automatically adjustable based on a desired temperature of the chamber and an actual temperature of the chamber.
Outdoor Heating Devices and Methods of Use
Devices and methods for outdoor heating. A stove device includes a fuel system attached to a combustion chamber to deliver fuel from a hopper of the fuel system to the combustion chamber for combustion in a firepot assembly positioned inside the combustion chamber. A distance between a chute of the fuel system and the firepot assembly is adjustable to change an amount of fuel for combustion and thereby control temperature of combustion. The distance may be decreased to decrease the temperature and may be increased to increase the temperature
Anti-rotation feature for a burner
A gas burner for a cooktop includes a spreader extending along a major axis to define an elongated shape. The spreader further defines an underside and includes a first projection and a second projection extending away from the underside. An orifice holder includes a body and a first lobe and a second lobe extending radially outward from the body. The first and second projections are opposingly adjacent to at least one of the first and second lobes. The orifice holder is mutually engageable with the spreader, with the first and second projections opposingly adjacent with at least one of the first and second lobes.
A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PYROLYSIS
The invention provides a system for pyrolysis, comprising: (i) a gas producer comprising a gasification zone and a producer gas outlet, wherein the gas producer is configured to: oxidise at least one carbon-containing feed in the presence of an oxidising gas in the gasification zone to form a producer gas; and discharge the producer gas from the gasification zone via the producer gas outlet, wherein a residual oxygen content of the producer gas is substantially depleted or maintained below a maximum predetermined amount by controlling a ratio of oxygen fed to the gasification zone to the carbon-containing feed, (ii) a pyrolyzer comprising a pyrolysis zone and one or more pyrolyzer gas outlets, wherein the pyrolyzer is configured to: feed the producer gas discharged from the gasification zone to the pyrolysis zone; pyrolyze a pyrolyzable organic feed in the pyrolysis zone in the presence of the producer gas to produce a carbonaceous pyrolysis product and a gas mixture comprising combustible components comprising pyrolysis gas; and discharge the gas mixture from the pyrolysis zone via the one or more pyrolyzer gas outlets, and (iii) a first combustor comprising a combustion zone, wherein the first combustor is configured to: receive the gas mixture discharged from the pyrolysis zone in the combustion zone; feed an oxygen-containing gas to the combustion zone; and combust at least a portion of the combustible components present in the gas mixture in the combustion zone to produce a combustion product gas.
Valve arrangement for a gas burner
According to one embodiment a valve arrangement for a gas burner is provided that includes a manual gas valve with a manual actuator for opening or closing the gas flow, and an electromagnetic valve having a movable closure member which allows opening or closing a gas passage to the burner. The electromagnetic valve is arranged in the gas valve, with the manual actuator being coupled to a rotary flow regulating element, the manual actuator being configured in order to move the closure member of the electromagnetic valve, opening the gas passage, the manual gas valve including a reduced gas flow channel which puts the inlet conduit in fluid communication with the regulating element regardless of the position of the closure member.
Single inlet oxygen burner for metal making
The present disclosure describes a metal making burner in fluid communication with a gas inlet and comprising an oxygen inlet valve that provides control of oxygen flow to two different discharge lines, such as a main line and a shroud line. This allows distinct “modes” of operation, utilizing only the flow from the single oxygen supply as the control method. The apparatus includes a moving piston with ports therein that meter flow to both discharge lines when the ports line up with a separate set of ports in a cylinder that receives the piston. At low or no pressure from the gas inlet, flow rates follow one ratio of flows between the discharge lines. As pressure from a gas inlet changes in the burner, the piston moves and realigns the ports (opening or closing some of the ports), which results in a different ratio of flows between the discharge lines.
ALL-PURPOSE GAS STOVE STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF INCREASING AIR INTAKE THEREOF
An all-purpose gas stove structure capable of increasing its air intake includes an all-purpose opening-covering case, an extended supporting frame, and at least one gas nozzle. The all-purpose opening-covering case includes an opening-covering case body for covering the heat source-receiving opening of a roasting/grilling device completely, and a gas controller with a gas operation unit for controlling the state of communication between gas input and output ends. The extended supporting frame is a box with a protective lid, is coupled to the inner side of the opening-covering case body at one end, and has a stove burner opening at the opposite end. The lateral walls of the protective lid are formed with vent holes. The gas nozzle is provided on the inner side of the stove burner opening. The all-purpose gas stove structure allows a ceramic roasting/grilling device to have a higher air intake and therefore produce higher heat.
