BURNER WITH TORCH IGNITION MECHANISM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
In a burner of an embodiment, a torch part includes: a torch combustor liner that is provided in a torch part casing and burns a fuel and an oxidant; a torch fuel supply part that supplies a fuel; a torch oxidant supply part that supplies an oxidant; an ignition device that ignites a fuel-air mixture; and a combustion gas pipe that is arranged at the center of the torch part and leads a combustion gas in the torch combustor liner to one end side of the torch part. A main fuel-main oxidant supply part includes: a main fuel supply passage formed in an annular shape on an outer periphery of the torch part; and a main oxidant supply passage formed in an annular shape on an outer periphery of the main fuel supply passage.
Heat Source Apparatus
In a heat source apparatus in which an electric component having an electrode and an insulator is mounted on a side plate of a combustion box, in a state in which a packing is interposed between a flange portion of the insulator and the side plate, by fastening a clamp which overlaps with an outer surface of the flange portion, to the side plate, the temperature rise in the clamp is restrained.
Upper and lower water tubes constituting a part of a water jacket are disposed on the side plate on upper and lower sides of the position of mounting the electrode component. In case the upper and lower water tubes are disposed on an inside surface of the side plate, the upper and lower parts of the clamp are brought into contact with those disposed positions of the water tubes which are in upper and lower portions of the side plate and, in case the upper and lower water tubes are disposed on an outside of the side plate, the upper and lower parts of the clamp are brought into contact with the upper and lower water tubes.

Sensor arrangement for measuring gas turbine combustor temperatures
A sensor system for use in a gas turbine engine. The sensor system includes a reflective surface configured to reflect optical features corresponding to combustion in a combustion chamber that exit the combustion chamber via at least one opening therein. The sensor system further includes an optical sensor configured to receive the reflected optical features from the reflective surface.
OPTICAL FLAME-SENSOR
An optical flame-sensor includes an optical circulator, an optical-fiber cavity, and a first optical sensor. The optical circulator includes a first port, a second port, and a third port. The first port is configured to receive an optical signal. The second port is configured to output the optical signal received at the first port. The third port is configured to output the input to the second port. The optical-fiber cavity includes a cavity proximal-end optically coupled to the second port, and a mirror at a cavity distal-end, such that a cavity optical signal output by the optical-fiber cavity is the input to the second port. The first optical sensor is optically coupled to the third port to quantify the cavity optical signal.
OPTICAL DETECTION SYSTEM FOR A GAS TURBINE ENGINE COMBUSTION ASSEMBLY
A combustion assembly for a gas turbine engine includes a combustor, a monochromator, and a photodetector assembly. The combustor forms a combustion chamber. The monochromator is disposed outside the combustion chamber. The monochromator is configured to receive an optical input from the combustion chamber and direct an optical output. The optical input has a range of light wavelengths. The optical output has a subset of the range of light wavelengths. The photodetector assembly is disposed outside the combustion chamber. The photodetector assembly is configured to receive the optical output from the monochromator and generate an output signal representative of one or more optical characteristics of the optical output.
