Systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing multi-point controls for a gas flame apparatus with a variable position gas flame trigger are described herein. For example, according to one embodiment there is a novelty apparatus including: a frame, in which the frame is comprised of a top frame resting upon a bottom frame; an output nozzle anterior to the frame; a tactical stock posterior to the frame; a tank mount attached to the frame to receive a fuel source tank; a gas line to feed gas from the fuel source tank into a gas inlet of the novelty apparatus; a grip affixed to the frame; a flame output system housed within the frame, in which the flame output system includes at least (i) the gas inlet to receive the gas line, (ii) a variable control plunger, (iii) a 4-way connector, (iv) a gas outlet, (v) a gas hard-line, and (vi) a burner tube; a trigger housed in the frame connected to the variable control plunger, in which pressing on the trigger releases the plunger to feed gas into the gas inlet from the gas line; an ignition system, wherein the ignition system includes at least (i) an igniter button, (ii) an igniter, (iii) igniter coils, and (iv) an igniter wire; a pre-set multi-point control system for flame management having a primary valve, an idle control valve and an igniter, in which pre-settings on the primary valve restrict tank flow; in which adjusting the pre-settings on the multi-point control system maintains an idle flame having a size that does not extinguish when the trigger releases the plunger and a pre-set increment of tank flow is released, transiting the idle flow to reach the burner tube; a structural reinforcement mount internal to the frame to provide rigidity and receive the tactical stock; and in which manipulation of the multi-point control system in coordination with the flame output system and ignition system results in the emission and maintenance of a flame. Other related embodiments are disclosed.
Flame producing assembly and method for manufacturing such a flame producing assembly
A flame producing assembly including a pocket lighter and a sub-unit assembly. The sub-unit assembly includes an extended wand, a rigid support and a helical spring. The pocket lighter is connected to the sub-unit assembly. The pocket lighter includes a piezoelectric ignition device. The rigid support is located inside the extended wand and includes a longitudinal inner opening. The extended wand is electrically coupled to the piezoelectric ignition device, wherein the pocket lighter is connected directly to the sub-unit assembly and wherein the helical spring extends along the longitudinal inner opening.
Electric ignition for flashpoint tester
A device for igniting a sample arranged in a container for a flashpoint determination test and/or a combustion point determination test. The device has an electric igniter, which has an ignition tip having a partially or completely encapsulated electric wire; and a traversing device, which is configured for traversing the ignition tip of the electric igniter to a defined position within the container.

FLAME PRODUCING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A FLAME PRODUCING ASSEMBLY
A flame producing assembly includes a pocket lighter, an extended wand, a rigid support, and a helical spring. The pocket lighter extends along a longitudinal axis and defines a length. The pocket lighter includes a piezoelectric ignition device operable to produce an electric charge. The extended wand is electrically coupled to the piezoelectric ignition device. The rigid support is disposed inside the extended wand and includes a longitudinal inner opening. The helical spring extends along the longitudinal inner opening and protrudes beyond a free end of the rigid support. The free end is opposite a connecting end that is proximate to the pocket lighter.
TOOL WITH IMPROVED IGNITION EFFICIENCY
A tool includes a barrel, a guiding wire, and an electrically conductive member. The barrel is made of electrically conductive material. The guiding wire is disposed in the barrel. The barrel and the guiding wire are directly or indirectly connected to two opposite electrodes of a power source. The electrically conductive member is connected to an outer periphery of the guiding wire and is electrically connected to the guiding wire. The electrically conductive member is disposed between the barrel and the guiding wire and is spaced from the barrel. When the power source is activated, an electric arc is generated between the electrically conductive member and the barrel.

Lighter
A lighter includes a housing having a liquefied gas storage and a gas emission unit for controlling a flow of gas. The gas emission unit includes a gas emitting nozzle extended from the liquefied gas storage, a piezoelectric unit disposed in the lighter housing for generating sparks when the piezoelectric unit is depressed, and a lighter cap slidably coupled on top of the lighter housing at a position above the piezoelectric unit and being limited to move between a non-ignition position and an ignition position. The the lighter cap has a depressible surface that an exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle is slidingly extended to embed in the lighter cap so as to protect the exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle at the non-ignition position. When the lighter cap is depressed, the piezoelectric unit is depressed and the gas emission unit is actuated at the same time for releasing the gas to be ignited by the sparks so as to produce a flame at the exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle.
