20180003384 · 2018-01-04 ·

A combustor inlet mixing system (10) formed from a plurality of circumferentially spaced swirler vanes (38) extending radially outward from a nozzle hub. Each of the swirler vanes (38) may have a length (62) that extends downstream along at least a portion of the combustor inlet mixing system (10), and may further have a thickness (66) that extends along a circumference of the nozzle hub. At least one of the swirler vanes (38) may further have at least one slot (42) cut entirely through the thickness (66) of a portion of the swirler vane (38). The slot (42) may separate the swirler vane (38) from the nozzle hub along a portion of the length (62) of the swirler vane (38).

FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM FOR A TURBOMACHINE, COMBUSTION CHAMBER COMPRISING SUCH A SYSTEM, AND ASSOCIATED TURBOMACHINE

The invention relates to an air/fuel injection system for a turbomachine, comprising: —an injector comprising a duct and an injection nose, arranged inside said duct, which extends from upstream to downstream along a longitudinal axis; —a mixer device comprising a bowl comprising an annular inlet, forming the inlet of the mixer device, from which there extends a conical portion flared in the downstream direction, said mixer device being arranged downstream of the injection nose; the injection system being characterized in that the injector comprises an air-injection annulus extending from the duct and from which there extends a connection ring comprising a divergent portion, said ring being arranged externally around the annular inlet of the mixer device.

EXTENDED BULKHEAD PANEL

A combustor may comprise an outer combustor panel and an inner combustor panel radially inward of the outer combustor panel. A bulkhead panel may extend radially between the outer combustor panel and the inner combustor panel. An outer spacer may be located between an outer flange of the bulkhead panel and the outer combustor panel. An inner spacer may be located between an inner flange of the bulkhead panel and the inner combustor panel.

Burner arrangement having a peripheral staging concept

A burner arrangement has a plurality of mixing channels which extend parallel to the main axis of the burner arrangement and are arranged in at least two concentric circles, in which mixing channels fuel and discharge air from the compressor are mixed during the operation of the burner arrangement. The mixing channels are grouped together into fuel stages so as to produce an irregular staging in the peripheral direction of the burner arrangement.

Gas turbine combustor

A gas turbine combustor includes a burner composed of a fuel nozzle group having a plurality of fuel nozzles for fuel supply, a fuel nozzle plate structurally supporting the fuel nozzles and serving to distribute the fuel flowing from an upstream side to the fuel nozzles, and a perforated plate located downstream of the fuel nozzles and having nozzle holes corresponding to the fuel nozzles. The fuel nozzle group includes outer circumferential fuel nozzles and inner circumferential fuel nozzles. Each outer diameter of at least a proximal end of the outer circumferential fuel nozzles is larger than that of the inner circumferential fuel nozzles.
