EXIT SEAL AND GAS TURBINE EQUIPPED WITH SAME

This exit seal is for connecting an exit flange of a combustor and a shroud in a stator blade of a turbine. The exit seal is equipped with: a seal body that extends in a circumferential direction; and a lid member disposed at a circumferential end of the seal body. The seal body comprises one or more recessed sections that are recessed in a radial direction or in an axial direction and extend in the circumferential direction. At a position of the circumferential end of at least one recessed section among the one or more recessed sections, the lid member is disposed so as to overlap, in the axial direction and the radial direction, with a recessed space formed by the one recessed section.

A turbine engine and associated methods for a combustor as shown and described. The turbine engine including a combustor with a combustor liner having dilution openings and a geometry that changes along an axial direction. The combustor further having a baffle surrounding a combustor liner defining a combustion chamber of the combustor. A method for controlling nitrogen oxides within the combustor, including injecting compressed air into the annular combustion chamber through any of the dilution openings described herein.

Combustor liner

A combustor liner used for a gas turbine combustor and forming a combustion chamber includes: an outer side wall made of metal; a panel attached to an inner side of the outer side wall and made of a ceramic matrix composite material, the panel including a panel body facing the combustion chamber, and a connection piece rising from an exterior surface of the panel body at a side portion of the panel body and protruding in a lateral direction; and a connection unit configured to connect the panel to the outer side wall, the connection unit including an elastic member configured to bias at least one of the outer side wall and the connection piece, and a fixation member made of metal and configured to fix at least one of the connection piece and the elastic member to the outer side wall.

MODE CONTROL FLOW CHANNEL STRUCTURE OF ROTATING DETONATION COMBUSTION CHAMBER

The application relates to a mode control flow channel structure of a rotating detonation combustion chamber, which includes an inner barrel, an outer plate and at least one sectoral direction-changing block. The outer plate is sleeved outside the inner barrel. An annular cavity is formed between the outer plate and the inner barrel. At least one groove is arranged on one side of the outer plate close to the inner barrel. The groove wall comprises an arc edge and a straight edge. The groove is connected with the annular cavity. The sectoral direction-changing blocks are arranged in the grooves in one-to-one correspondence. An arc edge of the sectoral direction-changing block is positioned far away from the inner barrel.
