The base includes a housing defining an internal compartment and a thermal element disposed within the internal compartment of the housing. Power to a heating apparatus of the electric fireplace insert is turned on and off by a disabling device as the concealing panel is alternated between the open and concealed configurations. The disabling device can include a switch or a thermistor.

A cooking apparatus includes a main body including a cooking chamber, a door configured to open and close the cooking chamber of the main body, a wire inserted into the main body from an inside of the door, a service hole formed on an upper surface of the main body to allow access to the wire inserted into the inside of the main body, and a service panel removably mounted to the main body so as to open and close the service hole.

An all-purpose gas stove structure capable of increasing its air intake includes an all-purpose opening-covering case, an extended supporting frame, and at least one gas nozzle. The extended supporting frame is a box with a protective lid, is coupled to the inner side of the opening-covering case body at one end, and has a stove burner opening at the opposite end. The lateral walls of the protective lid are formed with vent holes. The gas nozzle is provided on the inner side of the stove burner opening. The all-purpose gas stove structure allows a ceramic roasting/grilling device to have a higher air intake and therefore produce higher heat.

The range hood comprises a left side plate (3), a right side plate (4), and a plurality of hanging pieces (5); the panel mechanism comprising a panel (1) and a panel frame (2), the panel frame (2) comprises a center plate (20), a left hanging bar (21), a right hanging bar (22) and a support bar (26), the left hanging bar (21) and the right hanging bar (22) has a plurality of hanging slots (23,24), each hanging slot (23,24) engages one hanging piece (5); the first hanging slot (23) is bent backward from the top to the down; and the second hanging slot (24) is sloped backward from the top to the down; the opening of each of the first hanging slot (23) and the second hanging slot (24) is bigger than the inner end of the first hanging slot (23) and the second hanging slot (24), enabling the first hanging slot (23) and the second hanging slot (24) to be hung on the corresponding hanging pieces (5) more easily. Therefore, it is easy for assembly and disassembly.

A temperature-regulating appliance includes a top portion, a base, a temperature sensor, and a mounting adapter. The top portion has an upper surface and a lower surface. The base includes a housing defining an internal compartment and a thermal element disposed within the internal compartment of the housing. The temperature sensor is positioned outside of the internal compartment, between the housing and the lower surface of the top portion. The mounting adapter extends between the top portion and the housing. The mounting adapter detachably couples the base to the top portion.

A modular cooking appliance for cooking a variety of foods has interchangeable tops and a base to receive the tops. The base has a burner that is fed from a fuel supply and controlled by a valve. The interchangeable tops mate to an open top. One of the interchangeable tops is a grill grate that fits in the open top. Another interchangeable top is a griddle with a flat cooking surface. The griddle mates to the open top and is kept spaced from the base to allow exhaust gases to escape. Another interchangeable top is a pizza oven with a stone portion and a dome portion. The stone portion directs exhaust gases from the burner into the dome portion.
