Incinerating container for broiling
An incinerating container for grills and similar broilers. The incinerating container receives products of combustion from a gas burner or hot gases from an electric element or other heat source. Apertures in a top of the incinerating container receive oil into the incinerating container, such as oils from melted fat as food cooks. The oils are incinerated within the incinerating container. The apertures formed in the top allow hot oils to enter the incinerating container for combustion of the oils within the incinerating container, and are constructed to prevent flames from materially exiting the incinerating container.

Oven with enhanced air flow system and method
A high thermal mass cooking oven with an oven compartment having multiple high thermal mass cooking racks spaced in parallel opposition but close proximity is provided. A large blower allows a large amount of heated air to enter the cooking compartment and be retained by the oven compartment walls and cooking racks. The cooking racks are more massive than a typical oven and provide high conductivity and emissivity.
WATER FILL DRAWER WITH STRUCTURES TO PREVENT BACKFLOW OF STEAM
An oven includes a water fill assembly including a holder having a receiver fixed therewith and a drawer body defining a water-receiving cavity, an opening to the water-receiving cavity, and a fill outlet from the water-receiving cavity. The drawer body defines a fluid flow path in from the opening and out through the fill outlet and includes a blocking element fixed with the drawer body. The drawer body is slideable with respect to the holder between an opened position, wherein the opening to the cavity is exposed to an environment surrounding the oven and the blocking element is spaced from the receiver, and a closed positon, wherein the drawer body is retracted into the holder and the blocking element to engage with the receiver to close the fluid flow path between the opening of the drawer body and a conduit to a water reservoir.
Cooking apparatus having changeable heat source
A cooking apparatus may include a cooking chamber at least partially defining an interior volume and a substantially open upper portion. The cooking chamber may include a side wall at least partially defining a lower portion of the cooking chamber. The cooking apparatus may also include a lid configured to substantially close the upper portion of the cooking chamber. The cooking apparatus may further include a heating module configured to be coupled to, and removed from, at least one of the side wall or the lower portion of the cooking chamber. The heating module may be configured to provide a source of heat for the cooking apparatus, and, in some examples, the heating module may be configured to generate heat using at least one of a flammable gas, charcoal, pellets, or wood.
