Electrical household system and method of controlling an electrical household system
A method of controlling an electrical household system, comprises: starting a pyrolysis process in an oven, wherein the oven is connected or configured to be connected in signal communication to a household range hood; starting a suction device of the household range hood as a function of a communication signal from the oven, wherein said signal is correlated to the pyrolysis process in the oven.
System, Method, and Conversion Kit for Controlling Smoke during Air Frying in a Range or Oven
Embodiments of this disclosure reduce an oven's emission of volatile organic compounds when air frying. The catalyst does not require a self-contained heating assembly but instead is adapted for connection to at least one of a suction side and a discharge side of the circulation fan. The catalyst may be in the form of a screen or a foil bundle and have a mass loading of 10 g to 75 g per cubic foot of catalyst volume. The screen is sized for connection to the circulation fan and includes a corrugated pattern and coated with the catalyst on at least half of the screen. The foil bundle has a cell density in a range of 20 cells to 50 cells per square inch and is sized for location in a corner of the heating elements. The foil bundle can include a slew or herringbone cell pattern.
EMISSION REDUCTION DEVICE FOR COOKING FUMES PRODUCED FROM SMOKING, FRYING AND ROASTING
An emission reduction device for cooking fumes produced from smoking, frying and roasting is provided, which includes a purifying-tank shell. One end of the purifying-tank shell is provided with an air inlet and other end of the purifying-tank shell is provided with an air outlet. The device further includes a nebulizer, an ultrasonic coagulating unit, and an electrostatic deposition unit, which are sequentially arranged in the purifying-tank shell from the air inlet to the air outlet. A box body is connected to the air outlet of the purifying-tank shell, the box body is provided with a photocatalytic oxidation unit, a plasma catalytic oxidation assembly and an end filter unit therein. An exhaust port is installed on a rear side of the box body. Two sides of the ultrasonic coagulating unit are each provided with a flow rectifier which is longitudinally and slidably arranged in the purifying-tank shell.
Oven with specific catalyst, method
An oven includes a cooking compartment for preparing food, a vapor extraction apparatus designed to extract vapors from the cooking compartment, and a catalyst fluidically coupled to the vapor extraction apparatus and designed to convert catalytically the vapors extracted in the vapor extraction apparatus. The catalyst includes a carrier and a layer of catalyst material applied on the carrier. In a normal mode of the oven for preparing food to be cooked, the catalyst has a concentration of acetic acid in the converted vapors which concentration of acetic acid amounts to less than or equal to 5 ppm. The oven is also able to operate in a pyrolysis mode which differs from the normal mode.
Electric oven
The present invention relates to an electric oven capable of reducing contaminants, the electric oven comprising: an oven body having a cavity capable of accommodating food therein; and a convection assembly which is installed to protrude from one surface of the cavity and which can suck and remove contaminants generated when cooking the food and can heat the inside of the cavity. The convection assembly comprises: a cover case, protruding from one surface of the cavity, including a front surface which is spaced apart from the one surface of the cavity and has an inlet port, and a side surface which extends from the front surface to the one surface of the cavity and has an outlet port; a convection fan which is installed inside the cover case and allows air containing the contaminants to be sucked into the cover case through the inlet port and discharged through the outlet port; and a convection heater for heating the air sucked into the cover case by the convection fan to remove the contaminants, wherein the air discharged from the cover case moves in an upward inclined direction with respect to the one surface of the cavity.
Indoor Pizza Oven Appliance
An oven appliance has a reflector positioned within a housing above an upper heating element. An air distribution manifold defines an entrance proximate a cooking chamber of the housing. A catalytic smoke reducer is positioned above the reflector at the entrance of the air distribution manifold. An air handler is operable to draw air from above the reflector through the catalytic smoke reducer and the entrance of the air distribution manifold.
System and Method for Controlling Smoke During Air Frying in a Range or Oven
An oven of this disclosure includes a heated catalyst assembly that reduces emissions during cooking cycles and, in particular, during air frying. The heated catalyst assembly resides between the cooking chamber and its exhaust vent and includes a thermal radiation source including at least one looped element, a first catalyst located toward the inlet in proximity to one side of the thermal radiation source and a second catalyst located in proximity to an opposite side of the thermal radiation heat source. The first and second catalysts are arranged in planes parallel to that of the thermal radiation heat source. The heated catalyst assembly reduces emissions of volatile organics to no greater than 6 ppm.
ELECTRIC GRILL WITH A FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR FILTERING THE FUMES RELEASED FROM FOOD COOKING
An electric grill with a filtration system for filtering the fumes released from food cooked using an electric resistance acting as a heat source. The heat source is disposed below the grilling grate which extend in a horizontal plane. The grilling grate including an electric air extractor fan which removes the fumes released during cooking. The filtration system extends on the grilling grate and below the electric air extractor fan. The filtration system includes at least one metal mesh with an activated carbon filter contained in a slidable holding drawer. The drawer comprises a lower frame and an upper frame cover having pairs of quadrangular openings covered by respective metal meshes. An activated carbon sheet extends between them.
