Grilling machine

A grilling machine is described, which comprises a base body, a plate, arranged on the base body and defining a cooking surface whereon foods to be cooked are laid, and heating means operationally associated with the plate for heating the cooking surface. There is also a circuit, associated with the plate, for treating the fumes produced during the food cooking process. The fumes treatment circuit comprises: a hood arranged above the plate, which comprises at least one suction mouth, a filtering unit fluidically connected to the hood, and at least one recirculation outlet fluidically connected downstream of the filtering unit and located near the plate. In this manner, the cooking fumes sucked in through the suction mouth of the hood are treated by the filtering unit in order to obtain a purified flow with a given percentage of humidity. The purified flow is then recirculated towards the cooking surface through the recirculation outlet in order to exert a humidifying action on the foods.

Cooking apparatus

A cooking apparatus is provided. The cooking apparatus includes a body, a heating part disposed on an upper surface of the body and configured to heat an object to be heated, and an outlet part arranged on opposite sides of the heating part and configured to allow air to be discharged to an upper side of the body. The outlet part includes an outlet to which air is discharged, and a louver arranged on the outlet and configured to guide an airflow discharged from the outlet part to allow the airflow discharged from the outlet part to mix with an airflow generated by the heating part, thereby forming an ascending airflow directed from a front side to a rear side of the body.

An exhaust device has a fan plenum with a fan and a jet plenum having a generally planar shape with one or more jet openings on a distal end thereof configured to create a planar jet. The jet plenum is movably attached at a proximal end thereof to the fan plenum to permit sliding movement of the jet plenum relative to the fan plenum. The fan plenum and the jet plenum each have a respective flow-transfer opening that overlaps the opening of the other, the respective openings being shaped and arranged to remain overlapped in all positions to which the jet plenum is moved relative to the fan plenum such that an interior of the fan plenum and the jet plenum remain in fluid communication to allow air to flow from the fan to flow from the fan plenum to the jet plenum.

A door assembly for a microwave appliance includes a door frame that defines a door plenum and an air inlet. A monitor cradle is positioned toward a front of the door frame for receiving an image monitor seated on top of or flush with a front of the door frame. A duct is mounted to the door frame to divide the plenum into a low pressure region and a high pressure region, and an air handler urges a flow of air through the door plenum. A trim piece is removably mounted to a top of the door frame and includes a front guide that is spaced apart from the image monitor to define an upper outlet through which the flow of air passes downward along the vertical direction in front of the image monitor.

An oven comprises an interior electronics cavity defined within electronics cavity walls. The oven includes an air inlet for receiving ambient air from an ambient space outside the electronics cavity into the interior electronics cavity and a first air outlet for returning steam laden air from a cooking space to the ambient space outside the cooking space. The oven also includes a second air outlet positioned to separate flow going into the air inlet from flow from the first air outlet. An air plenum can be defined outside of the cooking space, and the air inlet can be defined in a first portion of an exterior interface of the air plenum. The second air outlet can be defined in a second portion of the exterior interface.

Range hood installation system

A mounting bracket mountable to the underside of the cabinet prior to the range hood and configured to engage and support the range hood as the range hood is secured to the cabinet. The mounting bracket having a support feature engagable to the range hood to hold the range hood proximate the cabinet while fasteners are sunk to secure the range hood to the cabinet. The mounting brackets are pre-positioned on the cabinet such that range hood is aligned with the cabinet when the range hood is supported by the support feature. The smaller mounting brackets can be more easily mounted in the proper position on the cabinet then the larger range 10 hood speeding the installation process and reducing errors.
