The present invention relates to a dual-purpose circulating purifier, including a housing, an oil fume purification device, a fresh air supply device, and a double-wing baffle device, where the oil fume purification device includes a fume suction opening, a first air outlet, a grease separator, a fume suction cavity, a first fan, a fume purification chamber, and a fume purification filter layer; the fresh air supply device includes an air suction opening, a second air outlet, a dust blocker, an air suction cavity, a second fan, a gas purification chamber, and a gas purification filter layer; and the double-wing baffle device includes a first baffle and a second baffle. The dual-purpose circulating purifier can purify indoor oil fumes, and also provide purified fresh air to the indoors, greatly improving air quality.

In one aspect of a vapor detecting device for a cooking appliance and a unit containing a cooking appliance and a vapor detecting device, the exhaust air that flows in through a first opening and/or through a second opening into the vapor collecting device flows through the following stations arranged within the vapor collecting device, one after the other, namely: a coolable body, as a station of the condensation device, so as to clean the exhaust air of aerosols and water droplets and to condense out at least part of the steam and preferably partially cool it; a grease separator filter as the first station of the treatment device; a sponge filter as the second station of the treatment device; a plasma as the third station of the treatment device, for sterilization, ionization and/or dissociation; and an activated charcoal filter as the fourth station of the treatment device.

A range hood for preventing air pollution is disclosed and includes a main body, a gas guider, a filtration and purification component and at least one gas detection module. The main body is configured to form a diversion path. The gas guider is disposed in the diversion path for guiding an air convection. The filtration and purification component is disposed in the diversion path for filtering and purifying an air pollution source contained in the air convection guided by the gas guider. The at least one gas detection module is disposed in the diversion path for detecting the air pollution source and transmitting a gas detection datum.

The present invention is related to a combination appliance (10) comprising a cooking hob (12) and an extraction device (14). The cooking hob (12) comprises at least one cover plate or worktop (22) having an opening (24) or a recess formed therein. The extraction device (14) is arranged below the cover plate or worktop (22) and comprises at least one fan (36) for sucking air from the area above the cooking hob (12) through the opening (24) or recess of the cover plate or worktop (22). The extraction device (14) further includes at least one filter carrier (50) and at least one filter (52; 52a, 52b), which is removable through the opening (24) or recess. According to the invention, the extraction device (14) comprises at least one liquid collector (28a, 62, 74, 76, 76′) and a lid or grid (26), which is inserted in the opening (24) or recess. The at least one liquid collector (62) is preferably removable through the opening (24) or recess of the cover plate or worktop (22) and/or may comprise at least one overflow opening (68).

A cooking apparatus including a main body forming a cooking room therein and including a front plate with an opening to the cooking room; a case positioned to one side of the opening and formed to accommodate a circuit board therein; a door opening and closing the opening and covering a front portion of the case, wherein a portion of a rear surface of the door is depressed inward to accommodate the case. The cooking apparatus includes a circulating air outlet formed at a top of the main body, and configured to filter and discharge air received from below the main body; and a suction grill attachable to and detachable from an upper portion of the case and accommodated in one side of the door, wherein a cooling air inlet, which allows cooling air to enter through the suction grill, is positioned in front of the circulating air outlet.

An extraction hood includes a casing having one or more suction openings or mouths and a connection system to an outlet duct for the removal of the drawn air filter. Inside the casing there are one or more filters and one or more UV lamps designed to be used for disinfection, for the abatement of smells and greases, and for self-cleaning purposes.

A method for filtering airborne particulates is described. The method includes providing an exhaust hood, and the exhaust hood defines an intake and the exhaust hood being adapted to receive airborne particulates via the intake. The method also includes conveying a portion of a filter media from a media source area to an active media area, transferring the portion of the filter media from the active media area to a media discard area, the media discard area and the media source area being disposed on substantially opposed sides of the active media area, and severing the portion of the filter media in the media discard area from a remainder of the filter media.

A portable hood may include a base, a head, a column, and a roll filter unit. The roll filter unit may include a purification filter installed in the head and discharged to an outside of the head after moving past a suction inlet. Accordingly, one of purification filters, for example, an oil mist filter, may be provided as a roll filter, so cleanliness, maintenance, and replacement of the filter is easy.
