Self-cleaning kitchen hood

A kitchen hood has a first housing and a second housing that slides into and out of the first housing to adjust a length of the kitchen hood. The first housing has a fan to suction air, an outlet, and an air quality sensor assembly to continuously detect air quality in a kitchen. The second housing has an inlet and suction grill through which air is suctioned, a steam cleaning assembly to automatically steam clean an interior of the kitchen hood, and a height sensing assembly to sense a height of cookware seated on a cooktop surface below the second housing. The kitchen hood may be lengthened or shortened based on the sensed height of the cookware, and a speed of the fan and the height of the kitchen hood may be automatically adjusted based on detections by the air quality sensor assembly.

A bracket for mounting an over-the-range cooking appliance that can be secured to a wall and support a cooking appliance. The bracket including a bracket body with top and rear portions, where the rear portion is secured to the wall so that the top portion is proximate an upper cabinet. The bracket further including a vent opening to engage an exhaust of the cooking appliance, and an integrated drill guide on the top portion of the bracket to align a drill bit for drilling an opening through the upper cabinet.

RANGE HOOD WITH TRIM ATTACHMENT

A range hood includes a hood canopy configured to collect and exhaust effluents from a cook top and a hood skirt coupled to an outer edge of the hood canopy. The hood skirt has a front surface that faces outwardly away from an interior effluent-collection region defined by the hood canopy and the hood skirt. A removable trim is coupled to the hood skirt.

Lifting mechanism with movable component and for range hood, and range hood using lifting mechanism

The present invention discloses a lifting mechanism for a moving component of a range hood and a range hood with the same, which comprises a mounting frame, a moving component, a motor, a transmission mechanism, two lifting rods, a connecting member and two guide rails. The transmission mechanism moves the connecting member up and down along the guide rails, so that the lifting rods and the moving component are allowed to move up and down. The power for the lifting motion is provided by the transmission mechanism, the guide rails on two sides ensure the stability of the lifting motion, and the lifting rods fixed on two sides of the connecting member further transfers the motion downward to the smoke guide plate, so that the lifting motion of the smoke guide plate is very stable.

Kitchen hood with slim profile

MODULAR DISTRIBUTED VENTILATION SYSTEM
20220325900 · 2022-10-13 ·

The present disclosure describes a distributed kitchen ventilation system comprising a master module and a plurality of assistant modules to be installed in respective openings in a wall, each module including a removable panel and a fan. Each of the removable panels are disposed within an inner perimeter of the respective openings such that at least one airflow gap is formed between an outer perimeter of the panel and the inner perimeter of the opening and the fan is in fluid communication with the opening in the wall. The removable panels comprise a planar expanse and a raised lip around the outer perimeter, such that each panel is configured to have one or more wall covering materials secured thereon. The master module may include a user interface for operating some or all of the modules.

PRE-FABRICATED GREASE DUCT SYSTEM
20220357050 · 2022-11-10 ·

The present double walled grease duct includes a tubular outer shell surrounding a tubular inner liner, wherein a spacer is positioned perpendicular to the walls of the outer shell and the inner liner. The spacer can include a plurality of vertical metal strips extend from a top edge of the spacer to the bottom edge of the spacer, wherein the top edge of the spacer contacts the walls of the outer shell and wherein the bottom edge of the spacer contacts the walls of the inner liner. The metal strips resist the different rates of thermal expansion between the outer shell and inner liner ultimately preventing the collapse of the inner liner under pressure from thermal expansion.
