MICROWAVE COOKING APPLIANCE HAVING A CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR AN EXTERNAL VENT
A microwave cooking appliance having a connector system connecting the appliance to an external vent configuration. The connector system may include an adaptor. The connector system may include a mounting bracket to mount the microwave cooking appliance. The adaptor and/or mounting bracket may include one or more magnets to magnetically connect the adaptor with the mounting bracket. The connector system may include a sealing system.
PORTABLE HOOD
A portable hood may include a base, a head, a column, and a roll filter unit. The roll filter unit may include a purification filter installed in the head and discharged to an outside of the head after moving past a suction inlet. Accordingly, one of purification filters, for example, an oil mist filter, may be provided as a roll filter, so cleanliness, maintenance, and replacement of the filter is easy.
PORTABLE HOOD
A portable hood may include a base, a head, a column, and a fan. The head may introduce air thereinto and discharge the introduced air to the outside. The column may be coupled eccentrically to a side of the head in a horizontal direction. Further, the fan may be located inside of the head such that the fan is eccentric to the head toward the column.
Contactless control device for a range hood and control method thereof
The present invention discloses a contactless control device for a range hood and a control method thereof. The contactless control device comprises two sets of infrared gesture sensing devices disposed on the housing of the range hood, and a detected signal analysis device. Each set of infrared gesture sensing devices comprises one infrared receiving device and at least one infrared transmitting device. The distance L between two infrared receiving devices meets the following condition: H*tan(θ)+H*tan(β)+W_min<L<H*tan(θ)+H*tan(β)+W_max. It is unnecessary to control the user's gesture sensing distance according to the intensity of the infrared transmitted signals. In this way, it is convenient to adjust the intensity of the infrared transmitted signals, and the infrared receiving device can better detect infrared signals.
Recirculating downdraft system for a cooking appliance
Provided is a cooking appliance that includes an oven cavity and an oven door pivotally mounted to a front surface and configured to selectively provide access to an interior of the oven cavity. A cooktop includes a heating element and an inlet of a downdraft system exposed at a top surface of the cooking appliance. An outlet is provided through which air drawn into the downdraft system through the inlet is exhausted to an ambient environment of a room in which the cooking appliance is located. An air duct system conveys air between the inlet and the outlet, and a blower draws air from the ambient environment of the cooking appliance adjacent to the cooktop into the inlet and through the air duct system to be expelled through the outlet back into the ambient environment.
ODOR-FREE KITCHEN
Methods and articles of manufacture are disclosed for more efficient ventilation of fumes and odor laden air from the kitchen. Flexible or three dimensionally moveable auxiliary ducts are used to further connect the kitchen's permanent/existing ventilation system to the pots and pans during the cooking or frying processes to suck the fume or odor laden air at the time it leaves the cooking container. In various embodiments the auxiliary ducts are permanently, semi-permanently, or detachably connected to the kitchen's existing ventilation system and/or to the pots and pans. In some embodiments the auxiliary ducts may have their own active suction component(s) and/or filter(s).
Cooking exhaust hood ventilation system
A commercial cooking equipment exhaust hood system includes a hood structure including an inlet opening to an exhaust flow path through the hood. A filter unit is positioned along the exhaust flow path. An electrostatic precipitator unit is downstream of the filter unit. The electrostatic precipitator includes an ionizing section upstream of a collecting section. The ionizing section includes a plurality of ionizing flow paths having side profile patterns that vary in width between at least one wide section and at least one narrow section. The collecting section includes a plurality of collecting flow paths with side profile patterns of substantially uniform width and a repeating undulating side profile pattern. A UV light source may also be provided within the hood, with a controller operatively connected to control the UV light source via a dimmer to enable selective production various UV levels.
MOBILE RANGE HOOD, SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a mobile range hood with a housing, a filter and a suction device, wherein the filter and suction device are arranged in the housing, wherein the housing comprises an inlet for air, wherein the suction device is configured such that the suction device can convey air from outside through the air inlet and through the filter, characterized in that the range hood is longer than high and wide and is not longer than 60 cm or not longer than 50 cm or not longer than 40 cm.
Oven End Shroud Assembly
An oven hood assembly for shrouding a longitudinal end of a tunnel oven stack, wherein each tunnel oven has longitudinal and oppositely longitudinal food passage ports, and has a food conveyor having ends extending longitudinally and oppositely longitudinally from one of the tunnel ovens' longitudinal and oppositely longitudinal food passage ports; the assembly incorporating a channel member having front and rear walls, and having a longitudinal wall spanning between longitudinal ends of the front and rear walls; having a pair of lower tracks supported beneath the longitudinal end of one of the conveyors; and having a pair of upper tracks supported at an upper end of the channel member, wherein the pair of upper tracks engage the pair of lower tracks to suspend the channel member from the conveyor's longitudinal end, and to facilitate motions of the channel member along the pair of lower tracks.
