Portable Baking Oven
A portable baking oven having an upper portion and a lower portion that define a baking chamber are disclosed. A baking chamber opening may be defined entirely by the oven upper portion. The upper portion may pivot away from the lower portion to allow access to the interior of the oven for cleaning. The oven may include a gas-powered infrared bottom burner and a gas-powered curved back burner.
SECONDARY VENTING ARRANGEMENT FOR GAS OVEN COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance includes a secondary venting arrangement within an oven cavity to supplement a primary venting arrangement with localized venting of combustion products adjacent a flame detector that detects a flame emitted by a gas burner disposed under the oven cavity. Doing so may assist with stabilizing the flame generated by the gas burner prior to establishment of steady state flow pattern within the oven cavity.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TESTING AN OPERATION OF A GAS HOUSEHOLD COOKING APPLIANCE
A system and method are provided for performing a test operation of a gas household cooking appliance having an oven cavity and a gas burner within the oven cavity. The system and method include an infrared thermocouple configured to be portably and temporarily positioned within the oven cavity and configured to produce an output signal in response to a change in temperature within the oven cavity to confirm that the gas burner has ignited. A control unit is configured to execute the test operation only upon receipt of the output signal from the infrared thermocouple within a predetermined amount of time following an initiation of a gas flow to the gas burner.
REMOVABLE HEATING ELEMENT COVER FOR AN OVEN APPLIANCE AND METHODS OF DETECTING SAME
An oven appliance includes a chamber, a fan assembly operable to cause air to flow in the chamber, and a first heating element adjacent to a bottom wall of the oven appliance. The oven appliance further includes a removable heating element cover configured for defining a duct in fluid communication with the fan assembly and the first heating element for directing airflow in the chamber to the fan assembly and across the first heating element to heat a food item. The oven appliance also includes a sensing device for detecting a presence of the heating element cover and a controller having a processor configured to receive an indication from the sensing device confirming whether the heating element cover is engaged with the sensing device and control operation of the oven appliance based on the indication.
COMBUSTION OVEN
An oven is provided, which includes a domed ceiling, a baking stone located below the domed ceiling, a cooking chamber between the domed ceiling and the baking stone, a front opening that provides access to the cooking chamber for food and utensils, a combustion chamber adjacent to, and at least partially below, the cooking chamber, and a rear opening that provides access to the combustion chamber.
GAS CAVITY BURNER
A gas cavity burner, wherein the present invention discloses a burner applied to ovens, more specifically, the present invention discloses a tubular burner composed by two half-shells disposed superposed conforming an inner mixture and diffusion chamber the receives a comburent and a combustible in order to generate a pilot and primary flames, said two half-shells comprising substantially symmetrical perimetral surfaces wherein one said shell comprises a corrugated perimeter surface while the other comprises a flat perimeter surface, the burner of the present invention also presenting a spacer between both half-shells, in that said spacer reduces deformation issues caused by the heating, while it also brings more control to the pilot flame and aggregates a reduction of material thickness in the manufacturing of the burner.
Oven
An oven includes upper and lower assemblies, a fire box and a heat absorbing and emanating device. The upper assembly forms a cooking chamber and has a front side with an open entry to the cooking chamber. The lower assembly is located below the upper assembly and has an internal cavity. The fire box is located within the internal cavity and includes a heat source. The device is located between the upper and lower assemblies and absorbs heat from the heat source and emanates heat into the cooking chamber of the upper assembly. The upper assembly includes inner and outer dome assemblies. The inner dome is located within the outer dome and forms first and second airflow pathways.
Oven
An oven with an enhanced structure to keep a cooking space clean includes a main body, a cooking chamber formed inside the main body and including a bottom wall, a burner provided at an outer lower part of the cooking chamber to heat up the cooking chamber, a door arranged to open or close the cooking chamber, a bottom plate coupled to the bottom wall of the cooking chamber with a gap from the bottom wall such that the bottom plate is located inside the cooking chamber, and an outlet for heated air formed between one end of the bottom plate facing the door and the bottom wall of the cooking chamber such that heated air generated from the burner is supplied to the door.
Gas cooking appliance with active igniter indicator
A cooking appliance and method generate an audible and/or visual indication to a user while an igniter is activated during ignition of a gas burner to notify the user that the igniter is active.
Oven appliances having improved oven burner air supplies
An oven appliance includes a cabinet defining a cooking chamber. The oven appliance further includes a gas burner assembly, the gas burner assembly including a burner tube disposed within the cooking chamber adjacent a top wall. The burner tube defines a passage extending from an inlet and further defines a plurality of outlet ports. The oven appliance further includes a conduit defined within the cabinet, the conduit defining a passage disposed exterior to the cooking chamber, the passage extending from an inlet. The conduit further defines a plurality of outlet apertures. The oven appliance further includes a duct defining a passage extending between an inlet and an outlet. The outlet is in fluid communication with the inlet of the burner tube for flowing primary air through the burner tube and in fluid communication with the inlet of the conduit for flowing secondary air through the conduit.
