An over or grill burner includes a hollow body with a supplying port receiving a gaseous fuel mixture and outlet holes emitting the gaseous fuel mixture, and a conveying duct conveying the gaseous fuel mixture toward the hollow body, which has a delivering port and a supplying/mixing port with a first aperture for a fuel gas and a second aperture for a gaseous combusting product, and a reflector conveying a flame produced by combustion of the fuel mixture from the outlet holes. The supplying port of the hollow body and the delivering port of the conveying duct have a substantially circular cross-section and are connected to each other in a freely rotatable manner.

In a first aspect, the burner system includes a fuel supply and a first burner surface for burning the fuel that is provided downstream of the fuel supply. The burner system includes a second burner surface for afterburning that is separate from the first burner surface and is provided downstream from the first burner surface. Moreover, a method for operating the burner system is shown.

Gas pilot burner assembly

A pilot tube assembly for easy repair and/or replacement of a pilot hood is disclosed. In one example, a field configurable burner tube assembly may include a burner tube, a pilot hood, wherein the pilot hood engages the burner tube and can be secured to the burner tube in any of two or more different orientations in the field, a thermo-electric device, and a bracket for carrying the pilot hood and burner tube assembly adjacent to the thermoelectric device.
