Hearth apparatus
An apparatus having a substantially air-sealed, transparent, front through which a flame within the firebox may be viewed. The apparatus may include a burner configured to hold and burn a liquid fuel and positioned so as to cause a flame from the burning fuel to appear within the firebox. The liquid fuel may be ethanol. The apparatus may include an igniter that has a user-operated igniter control that may be operated by a user from outside of the firebox that, upon operation, causes the liquid fuel within the burner to be ignited. The apparatus may include an extinguisher that has a user-operated extinguisher control that may be operated by a user from outside of the firebox that, upon operation, causes the flame to be extinguished. The apparatus may include a fuel inlet located outside of the firebox, and a fuel channel between the fuel inlet and the burner. A fuel tank may also be provided.

Combustion engine for burning a fuel mixture of water and alcohol
An example of the combustion engine includes a central chimney having a bottom end located adjacent a combustible fuel mixture of water and alcohol. A turbine has a top side with top side hole positioned around the chimney. A generally conical turbine insulator is positioned above the turbine and around the chimney. A generally conical deflector positioned above the insulator and around a top end of the chimney. The generally conical deflector is inverted relative to the generally conical turbine insulator.

Combustion apparatus
A combustion apparatus is provided. The combustion apparatus includes a fuel reservoir storing fuel therein, and a main body connected to the fuel reservoir by a flexible tube. The main body receives fuel from the fuel reservoir and combusts the fuel therein. The main body is partitioned into an upper space and a lower space by a partition plate. The main body includes a combustor that is provided in the upper space and combusts fuel supplied from the fuel reservoir, a blower that is provided in the lower space to supply air to the combustor, and a heating unit that is removably coupled to the combustor and completely combusts air incompletely combusted in the combustor. The combustion apparatus completely combusts liquefied animal and vegetable oil, thus reducing a tar generation rate.
