Oven appliance and method for preheating high-heat cooking surface
An oven appliance may include a cabinet, a plurality of chamber walls, a cooking surface, a top heating element, a temperature sensor, and a controller. The cooking surface may be defined in a cooking chamber. The top heating element may be mounted above the cooking surface to heat the cooking chamber. The temperature sensor may be disposed within the cabinet. The controller may be configured to initiate a cooking operation that includes initiating preheat activation of the top heating element, receiving temperature signals from the temperature sensor during the preheat activation, determining a preheat threshold is met based on the received temperature signals, and initiating cooking activation of the top heating element based on a cooking cycle having a predetermined time interval subsequent to determining the preheat threshold is met. Initiating cooking activation may include directing the top heating element based on the cooking cycle for the predetermined time interval.
HEATER SLAT, SLAT ROOF COMPRISING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Heating louvre (11) for a louvred roof comprising at least two girders which extend parallel to each other and to which several louvres are rotatably connected between an open position and a closed position. The heating louvre (11) is provided with an underside (13). A slot is provided in the underside (13) for fitting a heating element (12) inside the heating louvre (11). After the heating element (11) has been fitted, the cavity (15) is at least partially sealed by it and the heating element (11) is provided to heat a position between the louvred roof and the ground surface by means of radiant heat. By using a slot in combination with a heating element (12) based on radiant heat, it is possible to heat the position between the louvred roof and the ground surface, as the heating element (12) is not fully surrounded by the heating louvre (11).
Oven burner cover screen with improved mesh configuration
A heating arrangement for an oven includes a heating assembly including a plurality of elongate heating members extending along respective longitudinal axes oriented in a first direction and mutually spaced apart in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The heating arrangement further includes a cover unit having a body extending along a plane oriented parallel with the plurality of elongate heating members and spaced apart therefrom in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions. A plurality of openings extend through the body with at least some of the openings being aligned with respective ones of the elongate heating members in the first and second directions.
INFRARED HEATER
An infrared heater having a reflector body that includes a first and a second planar reflection section for arranging one infrared radiator in each case and a reflector opening opposite the reflection sections. In order to provide an infrared heater that allows for controlled emission of heat, the reflection sections extend in planes with respect to a first longitudinal axis, which planes are oriented so as to be inclined in relation to one another and which each extend at different inclinations in relation to an opening plane that is oriented in parallel with the first longitudinal axis and that is spanned by the reflector opening.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Operation of Range Top Coils for Cooking
A range has burner coil elements which have temperature switches as a portion of the replaceable coils. Upon reaching a predetermined temperatures, the switch opens and power through the burner element is secured. The burner elements are preferably open coil units. Lowering the temperature in a cooking utensil below common ignition temperatures while still allowing boiling is an objective of many embodiments.
COOKING APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed herein is a cooking apparatus capable of cooking a plurality of cooking materials using a heat transfer regulator having a plurality of regions in which a reflectance against heat generated by a heater is variable, and a controlling method thereof. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a cooking apparatus includes at least one heater and a heat transfer regulator provided to face the at least one heater and provided with a plurality of regions each having a different reflectance against heat generated by the at least one heater.
Double Oven Appliance
A double oven appliance having an upper and lower oven positioned below the upper oven along a vertical direction such that a gap is defined between a top wall of the lower oven and a bottom wall of the upper oven. A bracket having a mounting platform positioned within the gap and spaced from the top wall of the lower oven along the vertical direction. The double oven appliance further including a circuit board coupled to the mounting platform such that the circuit board may be spaced from the top wall of the lower oven along the vertical direction. Further, the circuit board may be cooled by a cooling medium flowing across the circuit board.
HEATER ELEMENT INCORPORATING PRIMARY CONDUCTOR FOR USE IN A HIGH-SPEED OVEN
A heater element including: a primary conductor formed from a single sheet of metal, wherein the primary conductor is capable of radiating heat within 5 seconds and has a DeLuca Element Ratio of less than 2 ohms/m2; and primary conductor bars that are not welded to the primary conductor.
Electric oven
The present invention relates to an electric oven. The electric oven according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a cavity which is provided with an oven chamber, a door for opening and closing alternatively the oven chamber, a carbon heater for providing radiant energy to the inside of a cooking room through the communication opening, a reflector for reflecting the radiant energy from the carbon heater to the inside of the cooking room, and a grate which is fixed to the reflector and is disposed on the communication opening and is provided with a forming section a part of which is formed toward the reflector. Therefore, the grate can be prevented from being damaged according to the electric oven of the present invention.
