Temperature-regulating appliance with removable base
A temperature-regulating appliance includes a top portion, a base, and a mounting adapter. The top portion has an upper surface and a lower surface. The top portion is configured to be mounted to a countertop. The base includes a housing defining an internal compartment and a thermal element disposed within the internal compartment of the housing. The mounting adapter extends from the lower surface of the top portion to the housing. The mounting adapter detachably couples the base to the top portion.
Cooktop with a heating coating
A cooktop includes a base and an electrically conductive coating applied to the lower surface of the base. The coating is composed of a paint containing electrically conductive particles dispersed in a silicone or polyester-silicone or epoxy-silicone resin. The conductive particles are selected from the group consisting of multi-wall or single-wall carbon nanotubes, graphene, copper metallic particles, nickel metallic particles, or combinations thereof.
TWIST LOCK CONVECTION MOTOR MOUNT
A motor assembly for a convection oven includes a motor mount bracket and a motor. The motor mount bracket includes a plurality of slots spaced radially from an axle hole. The motor includes a plurality of locking flanges complimentary to the plurality of slots. The motor is selectively attached to the motor mount bracket by inserting a respective locking flange into a respective slot and twisting the motor.
Temperature detector positive motion stop
A domestic cooking appliance for heating a food item is provided. The domestic cooking appliance includes a housing; a cooking chamber located in the housing and having a wall, the cooking chamber being configured to contain the food item while the food item is being heated; a heating element that provides heat to the cooking chamber for heating the food item; a temperature detector located in the cooking chamber and configured to detect a temperature in the cooking chamber; and a temperature detector positive motion stop located in the cooking chamber and surrounding a portion of the temperature detector.

COOKING APPLIANCE WITH ELECTRICAL COOKING ELEMENT DRYING OPERATIONS
A cooking appliance and method of operation thereof in which cooking element drying operations are implemented to drive moisture out of the electrically-insulative material in a sheathed electrical cooking element. In many instances, the cooking element drying operations are of relatively short duration and/or include multiple cycles to drive moisture out of the electrically-insulative material without generating sufficient leakage current to cause a GFCI trip, and in some instances, while maintaining a surface temperature of the cooking element below a temperature that could cause a skin burn to occur and/or for items in contact with the cooking element to be damaged.

Sequential broiling
Several embodiments include a cooking appliance/instrument (e.g., oven). The cooking instrument can draw an alternating current (AC) power and generate a maximum available power for a heating system of the cooking instrument via a power component that converts the drawn AC power. The cooking instrument can then directionally heat each of different zones in a cooking chamber of the cooking instrument in sequence using one or more heating elements of the heating system on at least one side of the cooking chamber such that each step in the sequence utilizes the maximum available power for the heating system.
