BASEBOARD RADIATOR
20220128243 · 2022-04-28 ·

A baseboard radiator (10) for use in perimeter heating has a heating coil (11), a chassis (25) and a cover (23). The heating coil (11) has at least one fin (12), defining a front edge (13), a rear edge (14), an upper edge (15) and a lower edge (16) of the heating coil (11). The lower edge (16) has front (21) and rear (22) notches formed therein. The chassis (25) engages with the rear notch (22) and extends from the lower edge (16) over the rear edge (14) and the upper edge (15). The chassis (25) is further adapted for mounting the radiator (10) on a wall (28). The cover (23) engages with the front notch (21) and extends from the lower edge (16) over the front edge (13) and the upper edge (15) to engage between the chassis (25) and the wall (28).

BASEBOARD HEATER BOOSTER

A baseboard booster article including a booster housing, wherein the booster housing defines a housing cavity and a housing bottom opening and includes a housing top having at least one top opening. The baseboard booster article further includes a booster support structure, wherein the booster support structure is disposed within the housing cavity and at least one fan associated with the booster support structure to be located within the housing cavity, wherein the at least one fan is operable to cause an airflow to flow into the housing bottom opening, through the housing cavity and out of the at least one top opening.

Heating system, kit and method of using

A system and method for improving the responsiveness of forced hot water heat exchangers placed around the baseboards of conditioned living spaces and improving the efficiently of centralized hot water heating systems. The control system may comprise replacement baseboard heat exchanger cover, a blower, a diffuser and a sensor which are mounted to one or more baseboard heat exchangers. When heating system and forced hot water reaches its operating temperature, the blower activates to rapidly transfer energy from the heated water into the air and disperse treated, heated air into the room. After the centralized heating system turns off, the system continues to disperse the treated, heated air until the latent heat of the heating element centralized heating system has been extracted and the return loop temperatures are at levels consistent with optimal boiler performance.

BASEBOARD RADIATOR SYSTEMS, COMPONENTS, AND METHODS FOR INSTALLING

The present disclosure provides, among other things, a radiator system, its components, as well as methods of mounting and/or installing thereof. Provided components include radiating fins arranged around a water pipe to form a core assembly. The radiating fins may include a collar and/or reflare and are spaced in the core assembly to permit airflow through the system. The core assembly may be mounted by support elements on hangers from a back plate which is wall mountable. The support elements may create space for airflow between the core assembly and a front casing and/or the back panel. Provided systems, components and methods are useful in commercial and residential baseboard radiators.
