Multi-type air conditioner

A multi-type air conditioner may include three pipes, including a high-pressure pipe, a low-pressure pipe, and a liquid line which may be connected to a plurality of indoor units, in which some of the indoor units may be operated in a cooling mode and the rest of the indoor units may be operated in a heating mode, such that waste heat from the indoor units operated in the heating mode may be recovered to be used for the indoor units operated in the cooling mode.

Air conditioner indoor unit

An air conditioner indoor unit is provided. The air conditioner indoor unit includes: a base module, having a base part which is arranged with a fan motor; a heat exchange module having a heat exchanger and a connection pipeline for connecting the heat exchanger to an air conditioner outdoor unit; the heat exchanger and the connection pipeline are arranged in such a way that in a mounted state, the heat exchanger and the connection pipeline are entirely located at a front side of the base module; an air and water duct module having an air duct assembly; the air duct assembly is suitable to be entirely disassembled from the base part without disassembling the fan motor in the base part. During mounting, pre-assembly is first performed and then general assembly is performed; in such manner, the time needed to assemble the whole unit may be reduced.

The methods further include directing heat from the heat pump circuit to at least one of the plurality of terminals and heating air at the at least one of the plurality of terminals using the heat directed from the heat pump circuit. The methods can further include utilizing sources and sinks of the heat pump circuit to efficiently provide the heating or cooling. Systems include the heat pump circuit, terminals, heat distribution, and can include a controller to operate those components.

A temperature adjustment apparatus adjusts a temperature of a heating medium that exchanges heat with air in an indoor heat exchanger connected to a heat source apparatus. It includes a first and second pipes through which the heating medium flows, the second pipe being branched into a first and second branch pipes which are thereafter merged, a second heat exchanger in which heat is exchanged between the heating medium in the first branch pipe and the heating medium in the first pipe, and a flow rate regulator that changes a flow rate of the heating medium in the first branch pipe and a flow rate of the heating medium in the second branch pipe. The second pipe supplies the heating medium from the heat source apparatus to the indoor heat exchanger. The first pipe returns the heating medium from the indoor heat exchanger to the heat source apparatus.
