External-air conditioning apparatus and ventilation system
An external-air conditioning apparatus and a ventilation system are provided, the external-air conditioning apparatus includes a fin tube type heat exchanger and a housing that stores this heat exchanger. The housing includes a base body that serves as a back side of the apparatus body and a cover body that serves as a front side of the apparatus body, and the base body and the cover body are dividable and detachable in structure. The base body has a base portion, a partitioning portion, a connecting pipe portion, a heat-exchanger-holding structure portion, and a water receiving portion. The cover body is a structure in which a front wall portion and a three-side peripheral wall portion are formed integrally with each other, and a part in which the peripheral wall portion is not formed is an inlet for external air.

HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH TIERED MULTI-LEVEL BASE PAN
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes one or more compressors, one or more outdoor heat exchangers, and one or more indoor heat exchangers. The HVAC system also includes a base pan on which the one or more compressors are mounted. The base pan includes a base level and one or more tier levels higher than the base level. The distance from any point on a perimeter of the first-tier level to a nearest point on a perimeter of the base level is based on the smallest bolt circle diameter of the one or more compressors mounted on the base pan. Also, the perimeter lengths of the tier levels are based on a percentage of the base level perimeter length.
OUTDOOR UNIT FOR REFRIGERATION CYCLE APPARATUS
An outdoor unit for a refrigeration cycle apparatus includes: a heat exchanger having an outer surface inclined downward; a drain pan on which the heat exchanger is set; a top frame on which a fan is set, the top frame being disposed at a top of the heat exchanger; and a support attached to the drain pan and the top frame, the support extending between the drain pan and the top frame.
Systems and methods for venting enclosure
The present disclosure relates to an enclosure of a vapor compression system, where a component is disposed within the enclosure. The component is fluidly coupled to the vapor compression system and configured to discharge a flow of fluid. The enclosure includes a hole within a portion of the enclosure and a relief valve disposed within the hole of the enclosure, where the relief valve is configured to discharge the flow of fluid in a first direction through a passage within the relief valve. The passage extends from an interior region of the enclosure to an environment external of the enclosure. The relief valve is configured to block a second flow of fluid through the passage in a second direction, where the second direction is opposite of the first direction.
Sliding drain pans for cooling units
In one instance, a cooling unit for use as an aspect of a cooling system includes a cabinet having a plurality of panels and having an interior, a front face with a fan aperture formed in the front face, and a bottom panel. The cooling unit further includes a drain pan below the bottom panel. The cooling unit also includes a plurality of guide-rail slide and track assemblies coupled between at least a portion of the cabinet and the drain pan for providing controlled movement of the drain pan between an operational position and a maintenance position. Other cooling units are disclosed with drain pans that may be lowered by a single technician.
Overflow sensor assembly in temperature control systems
In one embodiment, an overflow sensor assembly of an HVAC unit includes a sensor mounting bracket that is configured to be coupled to a mounting surface of the HVAC unit such that sensor probes of the overflow sensor assembly are suspended within and extend into a condensate drain pan of the HVAC unit. The sensor probes are defined by a sensor element that is coupled to the sensor mounting bracket and a spring that is coupled to the sensor element. The sensor probes are configured to activate an overflow detection circuit when the sensor probes come in contact with condensate fluid collected in the condensate drain pan prior to the condensate fluid overflowing from the condensate drain pan.
CONDENSATE COLLECTION ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system that includes a condensate collection assembly. The condensate collection assembly includes a drain pan configured to collect condensate generated by a heat exchanger of an HVAC system. The condensate collection assembly also includes a support member configured to couple to the drain pan and extend from the drain pan. Further, the condensate collection assembly includes a shield panel configured to couple to the support member and overlap with the heat exchanger relative to a direction of air flow across the heat exchanger.
Base pan for HVAC system
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes an HVAC unit enclosure having a base pan. The base pan is sloped from an inner portion of the enclosure to an outer lateral edge of the base pan such that the base pan is configured to direct flow of liquid toward and over the outer lateral edge to flow off the base pan.
