The first cooling unit (80) includes a plurality of first cooling unit fins (81) located on flow paths of the outdoor air flows (AF), the first cooling unit fins (81) being adjacent to the compressor controlling electric component mount portion (75a). The high-heat generating electric component (65) is lower in heightwise position than the outdoor fan (18) and higher in heightwise position than the fan controlling electric component (66).

The high-heat generating electric component (65) is lower in heightwise position than the outdoor fan (18) and higher in heightwise position than the fan controlling electric component (66).

An outdoor unit 100 includes a housing 10 in which an air discharge port X is formed on an upper wall 11, a blowing fan 20 disposed inside the housing 10 to correspond to the air discharge port X, and a fan guard 30 configured to cover the blowing fan 20, wherein the fan guard 30 includes a plurality of annular ribs 32 disposed to be spaced apart from each other in a radial direction of the blowing fan 20, and radial ribs 33 configured to connect a plurality of the annular ribs 32, and wherein the radial ribs 33 are formed such that free ends 3a thereof are bent in the same direction in a cross section orthogonal to a stretching direction and a pair of opposing piece portions 3b including each of the free ends 3a are in surface contact with each other.

The heat exchanger includes a first group constituted of at least one of the plurality of heat exchangers and a second group constituted of at least one of the plurality of heat exchangers not belonging to the first group. The expansion valve includes a first expansion valve and a second expansion valve. The heat sink is arranged on the flow path of the refrigerant on the upstream side of a confluence position of the refrigerant branches condensed by the heat exchangers of the first group and the second group and on the downstream side of the second expansion valve.
