One embodiment provides a method and apparatus for suspending air conditioning duct works from a support structure comprising unistrut type support beams which apparatus includes a plurality of support brackets arranged and configured for being slidably interlockable with the interior of the unistrut beam members. The support brackets can be slid inside the interior of the support beam until adjacent a support beam which support beam can be connected to the support bracket. In like manner additional support brackets can be inserted into the interior of the support beam members to be adjustably located next to their respective support rod. In such manner multiple support rods can be used to support a frame member even where the support rods are not symmetrically located along the length of the support beam as the support bracket can be slid/moved inside the support beam until lining up with its respective support rod. Additionally, the entire support framework can be moved relative to the plurality of support rods by sliding the framework relative to the support brackets. In such manner the location of the supporting frame member can be changed without moving the support rods.

Soundproof system

A soundproof system includes a tube structure having one or more opening ends and a soundproof structure having an opening portion or a radiation surface. The following Expression (1) is satisfied in a case in which a phase difference between sound incident on the soundproof structure and sound re-radiated from the soundproof structure is defined a phase difference as θ1; for one or more maximum values of the pressure of sound formed in the tube structure, a distance between the opening portion or the radiation surface and a position where the sound pressure has a maximum value in the tube structure is L; a wavelength of the incident sound is λ; and a phase difference θ2 is defined as 2π×2L/λ:
|θ1−θ2|≤π/2  (1). The soundproof system with a small size can obtain high transmission loss in a wide band.

VENTILATION DUCT UNIT

The object of this invention is a ventilation duct unit (1), which comprises an inlet (2), an outlet (3), a flow channel (4), which extends from the inlet to the outlet, and which is delimited by a wall (5) between the inlet and the outlet, a closing part (6), which is arranged into the flow channel, and which in open position enables flow in the flow channel, and in closed position prevents flow in the flow channel, closing member (12), which as a response to detecting fire, sets the closing part (6) to a predetermined position, and an actuator (8), which moves the closing part (6) between open and closed state in order to achieve flow defined for the actuator (8) in the flow channel. In order to utilize the ventilation duct unit for controlling fire situations and sound dampening, the ventilation duct unit further comprises insulation material (14), part of which is fireproof, and which surrounds the wall (5) of the flow channel and isolates the surrounded part of the wall of the flow channel from its surroundings, and holes (18) arranged in the surrounded part of the wall of the flow channel (4), which dampen sound by leading the medium flowing in the flow channel to be in contact with insulation material (14).

HVAC MODULAR UNIFORM DUCT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
20230043241 · 2023-02-09 ·

A heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) duct system which includes, at least in part, one or more modular, uniform, pre-manufactured duct elbow elements having two faces of two sizes. Each elbow provides a twenty-two and a half degree (22.5°) bend in a duct system. When combined, the elbow sections can provide forty-five (45°) degree bends or ninety (90°) degree bends, or even offsets within a duct system. Due to the size and shape of the elbows, multiple elbows can be nested within one another for easy packing and shipping.
