SEPARATING DEVICE, TREATMENT SYSTEM, METHOD FOR SEPARATING TWO SPATIAL REGIONS, AND METHOD FOR TREATING WORKPIECES
In order to provide a separating device for separating two spatial regions, which has a simple structure and provides for efficient fluid separation, it is proposed that the separating device comprises a supply device for supplying a separating fluid to be introduced between the two spatial regions, the supply device preferably comprising at least two guide elements for guiding the separating fluid, which guide elements are designed in particular as guide plates
Air-wall room system
An air-wall room system, suspended from a room ceiling, having a compressed air discharge duct. The air discharge duct is used for circulating compressed air into a hollow, four sided, upper air-wall frame with air openings. The air from the upper air-wall frame is circulated into a work space. The hollow upper air-wall frame includes air discharge ports for creating an air-wall. The air-wall, similar to a curtain, prevents toxic gases from escaping outside the work space. Corners of the upper air-wall frame are attached to vertical frame members. A bottom of the vertical frame members is attached to corners of a hollow, four sided, lower air-wall frame. The lower air-wall frame includes vacuum ports for receiving the bottom of the air-wall. A side of the lower air-wall frame is connected to a vacuum air exhaust duct. The air exhaust duct is used for drawing a vacuum in the hollow lower air-wall frame and exhausting the air-wall out a vacuum air exhaust duct.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT DECONTAMINATION MEASURES, METHOD FOR PREPARING DECONTAMINATION MEASURES AND METHOD FOR MONITORING DECONTAMINATION MEASURES
A method for preparing decontamination measures within a room located in a building and used by people includes a planning acquisition step. Therein, a plurality of regions of use within the room are identified, and for each region an expected use intensity is determined based on previously determined parameters. In a subsequent planning implementation step, for each region of use, proceeding from the expected use intensity, a suction means assigned to said region of use and having an associated supply air volume flow is specified. In a method by carrying out the decontamination measures, while the decontamination measures are being carried out, operation of individual suction means is adjusted to an actual use of the assigned region of use by people, and a suction volume flow suctioned by the suction means in question is specified, between a minimum value specified for the suction means in question, and a maximum value.
AIRBORNE CONTAMINANT ABATEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed is an airborne contaminant abatement apparatus comprising an air mover having an air mover inlet and an air mover outlet and configured to create an airflow when operating; a filter disposed in fluid communication with the airflow and configured to remove airborne contaminants therefrom; a supply air passage disposed in fluid communication with the air mover outlet and a vent; the vent disposed along at least a portion of a boundary of a plurality of spaces to be occupied, wherein the vent is configured to accelerate the airflow passing therethrough to create an air curtain extending from the boundary; a return air passage configured to receive the airflow at a return port and direct the airflow to the air mover inlet.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM VENTILATION
An elevator ventilation system comprising an ultraviolet source that illuminates elevator system air blown through an illumination chamber, and an air filter that filters the air as it flows through the chamber. The ultraviolet source is blocked from view from outside the illumination chamber. An air curtain emitter may expel a curtain of air across the elevator doorway, limiting air communication between an elevator interior and the elevator landing when elevator doors are open. An air outlet may be shaped to receive an elevator light fixture and to expel air into the elevator interior via an aperture adjacent the light fixture. An air curtain emitter may comprise an air outlet slot shaped to expel a curtain of air separating an interior of the elevator car into at least two air compartments defined by the “barrier” of the air curtain.
Modular Recycling Air Curtain Device
A module air curtain and recirculation system that can be incorporated into various tables and workstations that provides 1) an effective air curtain between individuals, 2) a reduction of harmful viruses and 3) the ability for two or more people to be in close proximity without having to wear personal protective equipment such as face masks. The apparatus for indoor air filtration and conditioning creates an air curtain between and around people. The device captures aerosolized droplets expelled from occupants and recirculates cleaned air to operate the air curtain while greatly increasing effective air changes per hour in spaces it is employed. While portable room air purifiers are used to improve the air quality of indoor spaces and reduce particles, allergens, and viruses, they do little to stop the person-to-person transmission of viruses. This device solves these deficiencies. Through applied effort, ingenuity, innovation and testing these issues have been solved by the embodiment of the presently disclosed modular system. Employment of this system can allow businesses, schools and restaurants to resume more normal activity.
BREATHING ZONE VENTILLATION SYSTEM
A breathing zone ventilation system for providing a protective air barrier between closely spaced individuals within a local environment. The breathing zone ventilation system includes a plurality of seats. An air control module has a housing defining an interior cavity, a blower, and at least one air tray stage. The housing has an inlet in communication with an air inlet and outlet. The blower, contained within the housing, is configured to develop a high velocity airflow into the air inlet, defining a downdraft air curtain. The at least one air tray stage is disposed between the blower and the outlet and has a frame defining an air tray enclosure. A plurality of baffles are disposed in a spaced apart relation within the air tray enclosure to define a labyrinth pathway between the blower and the outlet. The outlet may be configured to vent clean air within the local environment.

AIR CURTAIN CONTAINMENT SYSTEM AND ASSEMBLY FOR DATA CENTERS
An air curtain containment system and assembly for data centers forms an air curtain over the server cabinets thereby separating hot air in a hot aisle from cool ambient air. The air curtain containment system includes ducts which include a hot air intake section that receives hot air discharged from servers, which are disposed in server cabinets. The ducts include heat exchangers for cooling the hot air and at least one air curtain discharge section. A housing is coupled to a wall of the ducts, and includes a cooling edge device fan. The cooling edge device fan is disposed along the ducts, and is configured to draw the hot air for cooling through the heat exchangers. An air curtain fan assembly is disposed along the ducts. The air curtain fan assembly expels cold air through the air curtain discharge section, and thereby forms an air curtain over the server cabinets.
